Tried to do a simple portrait of Atalanta as a more refined and cleaned up sketch to see if it would work as a commission option for the price sheet I am trying to make. I think it is a success?

There's always more paperwork, never less. *Especially* when you're the right-hand to Meroux, like Torah. (Doesn't really bother her though, she builds stuff too)

Meroux is a woman of science, innovation, and engineering. Everything can be made more interesting in her eyes. Even if they incidentally put holes in the wrong things...

Arkus is well uh, definitely just a politician. Learn to ignore him; it's for the best.

Being a War Lord Adjutant means Vo'Lec is technically a politician, but at the least he's figuratively and literally a mostly soft, fuzzy, and approachable one!

Don't expect Ichor to be eager to do a job. He ain't interested (unless there's a *great* payout).

And reminder I put together an art pack of a selection of my art from the last few years. A full list of the pieces in the art pack are here: www.furaffinity.net/view/66348754/ I also decided to not use Itch.io after talking with a friend about. So old fashioned methods it is.

Related to the announcement video, if you haven't already watched, I will be at Denfur this weekend as an attendee. So there won't be a dedicated booth, but I will have an IsraClash deck for each combatant (16) with me for you to try out wherever a stable location can be found for it!

Special shoutout to @selius.bsky.social and his brother for the roadside consult during the session. I cannot express my gratitude for the opportunity and encouragement. And for getting to meet @lexifox.bsky.social who ran the table in the commons area. Was such a pleasure to meet all of you.

One of the things I got to do while at #denfur2026 was to be a first time DM in a D&D session for a panel hosted by the @heartleafgames.bsky.social crew and was given a DM screen and dice; and got a module from them for a future session. I am eternally grateful and will forever treasure this.

Ah yes, when it rains it pours. So turns out an ignition coil went bad. And to do the alignment I needed done, I need to replace to the control arms. Whee...so another 2500 to get all that done.

2009 Kia Optima EX, 6 Cylinder.

100

Adleisio @adleisio.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Quick search looks like it might only be on the 4 cylinder engine model.

100

Adleisio @adleisio.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

which would be weird considering I had a transmission fluid flush done when....one of the lines needed replacing a few years ago. And it's been this way since I got the car in 2015. So thought it was just me stopping and then immediately pushing the accelerator to hard not even a full second after.

100

Adleisio @adleisio.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

I always thought it was the car struggling to shift gears cause it was in the process of down shifting and then struggled to up shift. I have been able to most mitigate it by not accelerating as quickly or letting off the gas before slowly accelerating again.

100

Adleisio @adleisio.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

So thus I am hoping that it is just a faulty spark plug which should be covered under warranty along with the labor for it. But I was also going to ask them about something else. My car jerks really bad when I go to stop/slow down for a stop light or turn and then have to immediately go again.

100

Adleisio @adleisio.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

Yep. When the spark plugs were done 7? years ago, the technician described it as stacked, 3 on top and easy to access, 3 on bottom and hard to access. I got the timing belt done a month ago and they wanted to do the spark plugs to save on labor because of how everything was located. So we did them.

100

Adleisio @adleisio.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

I'd have no idea. A quick search says it is on the side closest to the firewall. The last time I had my spark plugs replaced I had two ignition coils go out, and not sure how long those last. I need an alignment done as is, cause Discount Tire replaced two tires from alignment wear.

I managed to get the car to a Firestone to borrow their code checker and it said a cylinder was misfiring. I got my car back to Brake Plus and I am hoping it is just the spark plug which got replaced and is under warranty.
