It's our 14th wedding anniversary today, huzzah! Jay is my Hootie Tootie Disco Cutie, my Best Boy, and I wouldn't, nay couldn't, be without him! I remember it like it was yesterday! On 27 July 1992, newly made redundant 19 year old me picked up a copy of the mighty, the wondrous Your Arsenal by Mozzer in the Hudd(ersfield), then caught a bus to Super Leeds so I could check it out on my trusty Walkman! It's just as good now as it was then! ❤️

On this day in 1991, 18 year old Angie J Lewis of Huddersfield was in that there London Town to attend her very first gig! Who did I go to see? Why, it was His Very Mozzerness at Wembley Arena, but of course! It was over 3 decades ago now, it feels more like 5 minutes! The best of times were they! ❤️

I was a tad late in Nineteen Eighty Hate hearing this seminal body of work for the first time, but on this date in 1986 (40 YEARS!) the mighty, the wondrous The Queen Is Dead by The Smiths was released. It rightly received public and critical acclaim as it is a magnificent, majestic masterpiece! 💚🙏🏾

Which means it must be Bonny Goth Lad Damien Thorn's birthday too! He'll be about 666 years old! THE best movie franchise EVER! ❤️

Back in 2014, #AdidasOriginals ran a cool campaign where you could submit a piccie to be given the Stan Smith treatment! I went with the now fabled (ha, ha!) photo of Lil Babba Dinky Moi, and I must say I was rather pleased with the result! Being immortalised by one of my favourite brands, nice one!

On this day back in 2023, having arrived in Grenada a couple of days prior, two of my siblings and I were waiting at the harbour to catch our ferry over to the beautiful sister island of Carriacou to see our Da!
