I just got the absolute best thing today! #Perimenopause itching is brutal. Add double frozen shoulder to it and I've been wanting to crawl out of my skin!

Today I got a silicone bath brush. The kind of brush with the long handle, but instead of bristles, it has silicone ones.
It's better than any back scratcher I've ever used!!!

I don't think I'll be finishing the pair of socks I was going to gift for this upcoming winter holiday. I burned the hell out of my hand after smashing a pointer finger and knitting is impossible Oh well. Maybe I'll gift them late 😂😅🧶

We're about half way through this snow storm and there is about 5 1/2 inches of snow on the ground. I predict it will stall at around 9 inches.

I wish it was just gluten. But it's wheat allergy (tested confirmed by a Dr.). 😢 Same with dairy. Not lactose, but dairy. I miss pizza so much I literally dream about it 😅

Ha ha ha ha ha I grew up in a vegetarian house, so I never had it until I was probably in my 20's after I started eating meats. Hated the texture. I only started liking it in the last few years, but finding a gluten free option is rough. (allergic to wheat)

I don't do "Thanksgiving". But I definitely enjoy Gluttony Day! I cook a ridiculous amount of food. No family. No friends (I don't have any where I live now). Just me, and if my roommate feels like eating some. Sounds mildly sad, but I know for sure I won't get sick! (food allergies)

I've always stuffed my bird with garlic, onions, and lemons after adding the fat and herb rub to the inside. But I have never really liked stuffing/dressing 😅 (I haven't made a lousy turkey in decades lol)

I am more fish taco than human at the moment. #tacos 🌮❤️ I learned that when you no longer live in a place that has really good Mexican (or Korean, Japanese, Indian), you learn to make it. No crappy restaurant versions for me! I'll learn to make it like someone's grandma in her own kitchen! 😁

They are super tasty and ridiculously quick to make. 15 min tops. Boom! Cookies! I make them on the smaller side so they bake more evenly. So make your dough balls about the size of an eyeball 😅😁 Yay twinsies! I love these pants in the winter! 😁

You should! If you bake them on parchment paper they peel right off. Just let them cool for 10-15 minutes. When they come out of the oven they are super soft and don't feel like they are done. Don't believe their lies! If they look matte on top they're done, glossy give them a couple more min 😁

When I am not feeling super nice I make 3 ingredient peanut butter cookies. 1 egg, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of peanut butter. Roll into balls, smush them with the heel of your hand, then criss cross with a fork. 10-12 min at 350°

Here is your autumn reminder to hunt down a Cinderella or cheese wheel pumpkin to hollow out and stuff and bake! Those are both savory pumpkins so I layer zucchini, summer squash, onion, tomato, garlic, and browned ground sausage. 😊🎃 Wrap in aluminum foil and bake until fork tender

One of my grocery orders today was messed up, and the other missed his exit, got lost, then tried to deliver to the wrong building (while I sent multiple messages that were ignored). Ugh. And then was rude to ME when he finally delivered! And my eggs were broken. Ugh.

#perimenopause is wild. Like, emotionally, I can't figure out if I'm absolutely enraged or so sad I could burst into sobbing tears at any moment. Also my feet are ice cold but my torso is burning up. So I can't cool down and I can't warm up. Heating pad on my feet and an ice pack on my neck? 😅

No idea but it was THICK. Like... Almost dough thick. Just gray paste. Mine is basic, but I add salt, brown sugar, cinnamon, and a splash of almond milk. It's more soupy. It's how I learned from my Mexican neighbors mom when I was little. Maybe that's the difference? Dunno.

I just watched a video of someone making oatmeal for their family. They put the oats in a bowl, added hot water. Let it sit until it was thick enough to eat it with a fork, and then plopped a spoon of peanut butter on top. Like... Um... Ew? Do people enjoy this? I can't understand.
