millenial gamers will hate on a 30-year-old game and love exactly the same game but with slightly better graphics

my partner recently got into embroidery and has spent HOURS scouring Etsy and messaging sellers to make sure they do not use AI before purchasing from their stores... such a pain in the arse... such a waste of space and so much time to find the few sellers who aren't selling you absolute garbage

any of the melty scenes with the liquid guy from the Terminator 2. Haven't seen that movie in prob 30+ years, it's probably not as scary as I remember but I hated that guy as a kid.

Anger is normal; how she handled it is not. But you're still here and making art, so points! 💯

Neither your nor any other child, past, present, or future, deserves to be treated that way by their caretaker. Sorry you had to grow up with that.

Put-downs, name-calling, & swearing at your children is NOT normal. Weaponizing housing, necessities, and gifts against your children is NOT normal. "Mother" sounds like a mentally ill adult who is either unaware of or unwilling to accept that fact and abuses those around her as a result.

ok but I also find Engage's art... horrid. I really wish they could have gotten Hidari (Echoes artist) for more titles; by far I think that art is one of, if not the most, beautiful in the series and it manages to retain the spirit and vibe of classic Fire Emblem while also making it feel modern

Calculated Mediocrity @adequatelyinept.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I have a rough time thinking 3H is anything but ugly because I'm not a fan of the artist. FEFW imo has much more interesting/better overall designs but the style itself doesn't do it for me. As much as I love Awakening, the peg legs were.... A choice. lmao.

I like seeing your art and blorbos whenever you post. I find your art style charming and I like your clean line-work. if you don't believe in yourself, believe in the me that believes in you 👍

something I'd like to stop seeing at vintage shops is those cheap-ass Hamazon packs of bootleg stickers for sale in bins/piles for cheap they're usually stolen licensed art/characters slapped onto cheap stickers with poorly cut edges you know the ones I'm talking about

I'm not much of a Pokémon person, but my son is & trying to buy him cards at retail prices has been nigh on impossible the last couple of years, and I refuse to pay scalpers for anything. So it warms the cockles of my heart to see so many of them having a full meltdown about the recent set. Enjoy!!

yeahhhh. I've gotten to doing online orders if there is something I specifically need and if they don't have it in stock, I don't go. I ordered 4 beads hoping for at least 2 but alas. Guess I'll have to have them shipped

I worked retail for 15 years so I know how much it sucks to do inventory, especially when you live in a high theft area but I'm still disappointed that 3 of the 4 packs of beads I ordered at Michael's were not in stock like they said. 😬

why does it have a human nose WHY DOES IT HAVE A HUMAN NOSE

Photo of a vintage ceramic cat with a very long neck. The cat is white with pink flowers and green leaves painted on it. The face is weird because instead of a cat nose and mouth, it has a human nose and mouth with red lipstick.

If only I had known what all colors I would need while I was at Scrap, where I can buy singles of pompoms and not 50 identical ones when I need only 2

RIGHT. Always the right item but not in the right color or the perfect color in a material that isn't usable!

Calculated Mediocrity @adequatelyinept.bsky.social · 16/09/2026

...I need dark blue. This is so rude. The ones in the left package are purple, even if they might look blue on some screens.

Photo of two packs of small craft pompoms. One pack is pastel colors and the other pack is standard crayon colors in all colors except basic blue.
