You know, my Reddit feed is starting to flood with game designers and creators (for both digital and tabletop games) using AI images and saying things along the line of "I don't have money to hire artists so I use AI". That's a lie. Art isn't expensive, never was. Commissioned art is expensive.

I am genuinely so, so confused by people like this. They understand that doing nice things are optional, but it would be nice if people do it, but they won't do it, because they don't have to. Isn't that just openly telling admitting they aren't nice people because they are selfish?

It's really easy talk about kindness during moments of peace. It's very different to do that in strife. Kindness in peace can be a passive thing, a mask you just wear. In strife, it is an active thing to do, that requires real empathy and sometimes courage.

Honestly, I spend too much time arguing on the technical aspect of LLM generative AI, when the issue has always been the morality of industrial and capital funded propagation of its usage. The tech doesn't even matter when the outcome is that it has killed people.

So I wrote a long thread about the unreliableness of using LLM generative AI for coding, in reply to a post talking about BlueSky using Claude to code. As if Apollo threw a dodgeball, BlueSky's AI coded moderation wrongfully suspended my account for spam. I can't even... beyond satire.

Somehow, I managed a rough middle of the Hank Green script, and boy, there is SO MUCH swearing.

I genuinely had forgotten how bad the Hank Green videos on AI were. There's so much mud to wade through, how am I going to structure my script?!?! I remember I unsubscribed from his channel after watching one that was really bad, and now I'm remembering why.

Most LLMs have a general aesthetic when it comes to designs/prototypes they output. This one looks to be Claude-esque, with its rounded corners, stark font, overuse of eyebrow content and bolder/colored keywords throughout. I'll pull up the source here in a few and grab some code examples.
