I finished reading Fangs for Nothing on a road trip. I liked it, but i felt like it was kinda too long. There was too much going on with too many characters. A lot of characters felt like they were there to build up a 2nd book. I am currently reading Accomplice to the Villian. 📚💙

I tried the pickle sandwhich from Jimmy Johns for lunch today. I love pickles so much, I had to try it. I'm glad I did, but won't ever get this again. super messy, the pickles slid around the whole time making it hard to eat, and you couldn't make it a meal.

When Roz in Monsters Inc says she's always watching Mike Wazowski, she also means when he's sleeping, shitting, and touching himself. She needs to be arrested.

It's been months since I have crocheted anything, but finally got myself to start a new project.

adelgirl @adelgirl.bsky.social · 20/10/2024

Do I really want to take a nap? yes. but I cant! my sleep schedule has been messed up all week- I have to force myself back on track

adelgirl @adelgirl.bsky.social · 25/03/2024

I've finished my latest crochet project, a bat beret! Attaching the ears and wings was probably the worst part

adelgirl @adelgirl.bsky.social · 13/03/2024

I've been teaching myself to crochet, and made this scarf as my first big project.

I'm playing Control, and just reached the maintence sector. I didn't realize until now I could that I could level up abilities. I have unintentionally been making this game harder on myself

Today has just been one of those day. Didn't sleep well, woke up having a spike of depression and was trying to force myself to do chores before going to work, get to work with a stack of stuff to do, and now have a headache. Need to vacuum, take a shower, and make dinner when I get home.

I absolutely hate games that have any fights that are literally unwinnable- you struggle against a boss, it makes you feel like you're not doing something right only to find out it's the game messing with you- you were never supposed to win. I can never trust a game after they have pulled this bs.

I did a little art practice with my new dnd character. Wanted to practice some lighting from a candle and non-full frontal views

My solo session 0 of my next D&D 2 campaign is tomorrow! I'm so excited. We do solo session 0s to explain actually how the characters meet up from where they each would start from rather than just having the characters just randomly meet up with no real context.

I made dinner last night, this sauce has got to be the best canned sauce I've ever had. Also, decided to make an orange bundt cake today. Haven't tasted it yet, waiting for bf to get back from work- though the sauce on top was really good. I just had to lick the spoon clean

I'm just sitting at work thinking about what to do for dinner, and a sudden thought came to me. Bacon wrapped potato pancakes.

adelgirl @adelgirl.bsky.social · 09/02/2024

Finally, I got around to designing my new #dnd character, Tomoko Shirogora I'll have to clean it up digitally and do some coloring, maybe shading, too. #art #oc

Dnd update- new character sheet is bascially done. I'm gonna play a pact of the tome warlock with a homebrew eldritch deity. I just gotta put the full spell descriptions that I picked onto my sheet, which I dont wanna do on mobile.

010

adelgirl @adelgirl.bsky.social · 08/02/2024

I always forget everything that goes into making a new character sheet ugh... I got my stats all set up but still gotta make changes based on my characters race, background, and gotta pick some Warlock stuff.

adelgirl @adelgirl.bsky.social · 08/02/2024

Got our last session today for out current #dnd campaign. We already had our BBEG fight last session, but we really wanted to have one last session for a wrap up. Been a fun ride, and gonna miss all of our characters and the npcs but I'm also excited to try out my next character next week.

Made some meatloaf sandwiches for dinner 🍽

adelgirl @adelgirl.bsky.social · 08/02/2024

I haven't worked on the design for my next DnD character for a while but I can at least share my sketch of her and some of her inspiration. She's gonna have a suicase that is basically like a bag of holding- but only for books. She'll be able to use the books to look up information on new areas #art

I wanna take a nap when I get off work but a freinds coming over to drop off a computer he was helping repair and I cant guarantee how long he'll be here for. Plus, I'll need to start cooking dinner.

adelgirl @adelgirl.bsky.social · 07/02/2024

I'm gonna make some meatloaf for dinner tonight, tempted to make some meatloaf sandwiches. It just sounds so good to my tired lil brain.

My bf's computer nightmare is almost over. He moved from out of state and shipped his PC. Usps shattered the tempered glass, couldnt get an insurance payout. Had to get a new case, glass got into the power source, and the motherboard died. A friend fixed it for us, and is dropping it off today.

Taco bell has done me in again, but that won't stop me from ordering it again. I don't learn my lesson
