So right now I also got myself the book and will just dig myself into a deeper RWRB hole, I guess.

And then I proceeded to rewatch RWRB like every other day bc that silliness sure is comforting. Queer romcom, it feels like a fanfic in a movie format. And no one dies! Shocking

Would you look at that, RWRB has taken over all of my thoughts. I watched it for the first time while waiting for a new season of Young Royals and oh boy, when compared, the highschoolers sure have more drama going... And that was my first thought after finishing - wth it's too silly

Ok but look at the difference! Page 1 and page 4?? What will happen when I reach page 44? Crazy

Or do I? That sounds like a procrastination thing :'D I guess i will start with just using up all the 94736 pens I have all over the place first, maybe I will find the perfect one among them. Who knows

Everyone's talking about sketching with a pen instead of a pencil and I tried it. It's weird at first, gotta admit, but during 3rd page it got really nice. I think I will keep it up, just gotta find a nice pen for it...

A Place But Not A Home Yet

digital art of original character Aran sitting depressed with his head down, on the floor of a room with his cat. He is surrounded by half unpacked boxes and clutter. The room is dark and only enlightened red from a bright red light source outside that is shining through the window.

I looked in the mirror and did not recognize my own face 3.75" x 3.75" pen on paper.

So just screw it all together, I guess? No one will ever know what I find fixable if I don't point it out, right? :D

Actually, perfectionism is always holding me down. There are hundreds of ideas/sketches/wips that I never finished bc I couldn't make them ✨perfect✨ fast enough to not loose faith in myself that I can ever make them good enough

I can never reach that "yes, it's perfect, there's nothing else to fix here" stage anyway.

I think I have finished the wolfstar piece and it's good to go into the wild world. Of course I totally could fix like million more things in it but I'm trying fight perfectionism so I will just post it and cringe in silence

But you never know, maybe I will find my new favourite in the next 100 brushes batch :'D

It always amazes me that I hoard all those photoshop/procreate/csp brushes and then I always end up painting whole illustration with 2 chalky ones.

Finally getting back to a Wolfstar I started a year ago, right when 💩 was hitting the fan. The mood of the pic was much more gloomy then but rn I feel positive so I've changed the vibe of it

Summary of art 2023! ⭐ That year was very good, then awfully bad and then ok with a promising ending. Didn't manage to create lots of works, but I'm very proud of the ones I did! #artsummary2023

I'm finally getting down to preparing 2023 summary of art and it sure is sad to see (again) those 5 months when I didn't create anything
