In the weeks leading up to the strike I did the survey every time I shopped and added in the comments about good labor practices and for them to avoid a strike. I know it didn’t do anything real, but I love the employees at my store and hate that they are getting a raw deal.

But anyway, I made my day better by moving a giant loveseat upstairs and into a very tight door frame by myself. The legs required a 6” Phillips screwdriver to remove, which apparently I do not own, so I just had to finagle it through the frame, and I did it. Also, I got it up 14 steep stairs solo.

I made a mistake at work months ago that no one caught (like 4 people reviewed the work). Now everyone is pisssed at me for the mistake. I owned up to making it, and I worked with the funder to fix it, but making me the scapegoat is hilarious. Accountability is always shallow.
