Over 3M files from Epstein supposedly getting released today. Just this ONE file alone has 26 different new claims against Trump... How many of these were properly investigated?

23/23 They MAY still try and fight the case outright - and they can't really mix those strategies. But, because Trump's inept DoJ over reached, Luigi has a chance to get a LOWER sentence than if the State had done the initial charging itself.

22/23 Meaning if he admits to murder, to torpedo the botched Federal case he could lower his penalty from: * Life without parole to * 15 to life: --eligibility for parole after 15 years --Time served pretrial counts --Served concurrent with federal So maybe 12 years total

21/23 Now admitting to a killing in court would normally be a insane, BUT: * The federal murder charge has no hook and can't be rebrought. * The stalking charges become 5 years in prison max. * NY then brings a state case, but he pleas for 15 to life, time served concurrently.

Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
20/23 The court would likely find that to be outside of the scope of the "resulted in death" enhancement as it was NOT during the stalking. It would normally be covered by just a normal murder charge. BUT, the prosecution botched it and that was dropped...
180
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
19/23 The "death resulting from" enhancement requires both "but-for causation" and "proximate cause" So the defense COULD argue: * He did stalk him earlier that day and was armed. * He stopped stalking. * He bumped into the victim later and did shoot him.
180
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
18/23 The stalking crime requires the DoJ prove: * Two or more acts that establish a pattern * The acts were taken with the intent kill, injure, harass, intimidate or surveil, not that that intent became established *during* the acts. But it gets WORSE.
180
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
17/23 Why is this a problem for the DoJ? Murder is a high-bar to charge, but a clean crime to prove. Stalking is a COMPLEX crime. Enhancement "resulting in death" is an even more complex crime.
1100
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
16/23 This means the only crimes he will be tried for are: * Interstate Stalking (18 U.S.C. § 2261A(1)(A)) * Electronic stalking (18 U.S.C. § 2261A(2)(A)) * Both with "Resulting in death" enhancement (§ 2261(b)(1)) They carry a MAX of life without parole.
190
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
15/23 This means that they were forced to DROP the following charges: * Murder using a firearm during a crime of violence (18 U.S.C. § 924(j)) * Use of a firearm during a crime of violence (18 U.S.C. § 924(c))
180
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
12/23 The judge notes the law is clear that "a violent crime" MUST be one in which physical force is used against another person. And so Luigi CANNOT be charged with § 924(j)
190
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
11/23 The judge however points out that it is "absurd" that the DoJ is even asking the court to deem the "stalking" as crimes of violence. The underlying crime (stalking) is separate from the enhancement (resulting in death) And cannot be used to change that.
190
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
10/23 This would let them charge: * Federal interstate stalking charges with a "results in death enhancement" (18 U.S.C. § 2261) [Life without parole] AND * Murder using a firearm during a crime of violence (18 U.S.C. § 924(j)) [Death Penalty charge]
170
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
9/23 The DoJ tried to argue that "interstate stalking" and "electronic stalking" were "violent crimes"
180
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
8/23 This meant the courts needed to prove that Luigi had done the murder, while ALREADY doing yet another crime of a violent nature. (We're now 3 layers of unnecessary crime deep, because they wanted the death penalty)
180
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
7/23 They used § 924(j) which is summarized as: "Murder using a firearm during a crime of violence"
Legal text excerpt highlighting §924(j) describing death caused by a firearm during a violation, outlining murder and manslaughter penalties.
160
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
6/23 So federal prosecutors decided they needed to find *another* federal crime to charge him with, rather than let the state do its job. The problem? Not a lot of other federal crimes applied here.
180
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
5/23 18 U.S.C. § 1111 is the federal "murder" charge, but it requires one of three criteria to make it federal: 1) It happened on a Federal property. OR 2) The victim was a protected Federal person. OR 3) It was done while committing ANOTHER federal crime.
180
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
4/23 Since New York didn't have a death penalty option, the DoJ would need to find a way to "federalize" the case. But a crime CANNOT automatically be charged federally - it must have "a federal nexus" or violate a specific federal crime.
1101
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
3/23 Last January, when Trump took power, he signed EO 14164, requiring the DoJ to pursue the death penalty where possible. He specifically made a media push about the Luigi Mangione case.

Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
2/23 In the State of New York, the charge of murder is § 125.25. It: * Does NOT allow for a death penalty * Does not allow life without parole * Charges 15 - 25 years. LWOP (life without parole) requires § 125.27, it requires one of these aggravating factors:

Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 30/01/2026
1/23 This is WILD. A *HUGE* fuck-up in the Trump DoJ strategy means Luigi will: * Not face the death penalty * Technically NOT even face a formal "murder" charge AT ALL?! All because Pam Bondi cared more about political theatrics than the law. Let me explain: x.com/cnnbrk/stat...

This would explain the large swath of alt-right bro-casters and how they are the dumbest and sleaziest people you know. But it’s also illegal and whoever whistleblows it would become a hero. And in this era could claim the blackmail was just AI! 🤷‍♂️

This makes the fact that the 11th Airborne from Alaska are on standby. If you’re sending the NC troops, you DON’T need your arctic warfare specialists… Unless it’s for Greenland.

I do think people will be held accountable for 2020 soon. Mainly because the Jack Smith testimony on Thursday will show the American people that in 2020, Trump plotted to forge election documents to try and stay in power even if he lost.

At the current pace, the DoJ will finish releasing all the Epstein Files in: • 84 years, 1 month and 24 days Only about 9 decades past the legal deadline! 😐

Let’s not get this confused. Yesterdays report of DOGE illegally using and sharing voting data and social security information was from AFTER the election. DOGE didn’t have access prior. They were trying to steal *future* elections, but *they* had no impact on 2024.

But @piersmorgan it is notably *NOT* the will of Denmark or Greelanders. They’ve *overwhelmingly* expressed that. It’s like saying “I have no problem if she goes out with him willingly” after a girl has said “no” 15 times to the creep and now he is trying to coerce her.

2/2 It’s non-trivial as the US economy benefits immensely from the fact that US debt (and in turn the US dollar) is seen as the global reserve currency. If the integrity of that debt is questioned, things get BAD *fast*

Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 21/01/2026
1/2 That’s now three major European countries that have had their main pension funds choose to divest from US treasuries. The pressure from that lack of passive buying, increases volatility which will cause other funds to re-eval allocation amounts as well.

Well no shit! How are we in a world where this was even remotely on the table? The Democratic leadership needs to get their head out of their ass, and realize where we are!

A federal judge *DENIED* the request of Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna to appoint a special master. The Judge REBUKED Congress’ failure to act, noting that Congress has the full authority to enforce the Epstein Files Act!

29/29 The irony is, they complain about overseas laws attacking and criminalizing speech. And then they enact programs 1000x worse, aimed at monitoring and silencing any American who DARES to disagrees with them. Dissent is NOT terrorism. Dissent is FREEDOM.
15315
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
28/29 The fear of that charge, the risk of it sticking, the cost of the proceeding, is enough to quash dissent - and they know that. They are trying to use fear and threat to coerce your silence. Because tyrants thrive when fear masks their weakness.
13610
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
27/29 And then they are setting the stage to use RICO charges, to clamp down on protest and dissent, by using the swaths of data they gathered. While many of these cases likely wont hold up to court scrutiny - IT DOES NOT MATTER. They just want to stop this:

26/29 This memoranda, in combination with the previous EO, if allowed to stand is the WORST violation of American privacy in >20 years. They are giving legal cover Kash Patel to surveil ANYONE who publicly disagrees with the President's agenda.
1208
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
25/29 And by letting the FBI use NSLs to go after ALL your bank records and IRS records, AND your social media and phone metadata, WITHOUT you knowing and WITHOUT a court order... ...Means they will find everyone you ever interacted with or donated to, to cast a wide net.
1171
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
24/29 If you helped organize a protest, or donate to its permits, or tweeted about it, and someone there committed a violent act, OR someone there had previously committed a violent act, they could use that to bring RICO charges against you.
1173
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
23/29 Technically you can argue: -Anyone who coordinated, recruited, funded, donated, or provided other support for people was part of that org.
1150
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
22/29 Normally, donating to a domestic organization, even if they later commit a crime is not an offense, so long as you did not *know* the proceeds would be used in a crime. BUT, with RICO, if no formal org exists, then that line gets hazy.
1141
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
21/29 For this to stick, you have to prove: -The group has a shared purpose, even if loosely defined -There is a relationship among the participants -They have committed at least 2 violent crimes in a 10 year period -Have a pattern of "coordination"
1140
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
20/29 The RICO charge was created as a way to deal with organized crime (the Mafia, Bike Gangs, etc) where you could collectively charge everyone in the group with a crime, even if they themselves didn't carry out the violent act, so long as you could prove the group enabled it.
1150
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
19/29 BUT, the other reason is *MUCH* more dangerous. And it's a the end of this paragraph, when they reference Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (18 U.S.C. 1961 et seq) which is more commonly known as "RICO"
1150
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
18/29 That's *one of* the reasons that this memorandum expressly requires that the IRS and the Treasury department produce financial records, tax filings, and all financial reports, related to any one that the JTFF/FBI investigate under this "terrorist" label.
1141
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
17/29 They EXPRESSLY are using this to dig up dirt on people, both directly, and in pursuit of larger charges. Just as we saw with Fed Governor Cook, the Trump administration tries to use made up crimes, in the court of public opinions to bully detractors into silence.
1150
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
16/29 This lets them compel records from other federal departments, as well as private companies, just by saying they "had to" investigate you to rule out you were a terrorist. Requesting logs through ALL the KYC/AML bank monitoring programs and the IRS
1162
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
15/29 The goal of this memoranda is to create legal cover for Kash Patel to create NSLs to investigate *ANY* person who expresses anti-Trump, anti-MAGA or anti-fascist rhetoric. All without a warrant. Simply by saying "they had the *indica* of a known terrorist group"
1174
Adam Cochran @adamscochran.bsky.social · 29/09/2025
14/29 An NSL requires: -No judge approval -No threshold of proof -No requirement of probable cause BUT, it does require one thing, the FBI can ONLY issue an NSL if they can articulate that it relates to: -Counterintelligence OR -Counter-terrorism
1162
