In a week, I’ll be playing Mr. Mushnik in a local production of Little Shop of Horrors! It’s been such a wonderful experience to perform onstage with such an amazing cast!

In all seriousness, I do think it’s cool that we’re getting voiced characters in the OoT remake, yes folks are entitled to their opinions on it but just saying “English dub sucks” isn’t a very constructive one; and that’s not just bc I’m a VA.

If you ask me, I think it’s neat that we’re getting voiced characters.

If Dolly was our constant reminder that it was Good to be Good, Tim Curry was our reminder that it was Good to be Weird. Embrace your strangeness, sing with Muppets, wear your lingerie with a leather jacket, and fuck with uptight people who hate anything that makes them remotely uncomfortable.

Lrp, but on the topic of blood loss, that makes me wish I was able to donate blood right now, but I can’t due to medical reasons. Folks, I implore you to donate blood if you can. There’s always a need for it, who knows what could’ve happened if Miss Lala wasn’t able to get a transfusion.

CW: pregnancy loss Miss Lala, I don’t have the words. I remember seeing her announcement while ago, after learning about her previous losses I was happy to hear the news. To learn about this, and the fact that she could very well have died (3L is more than half of the human body’s blood supply).

I think the funniest thing I said in a rehearsal recently is “No, I don’t have perfect pitch, I just know a few pitches off the top of my head.” 🤣

This morning I sang Feed Me from Little Shop of Horrors in the most Tim Curry voice possible, and I don’t think it’s too bad.

Fun fact, few years ago I met Keone Young at a con and the only character I could remember him voicing was the monk from Samurai Jack season 5 when he asked, and only afterwards I remembered his more memorable voice roles 🤣

After seeing the teaser for Avatar Seven Havens, I only have one thing to say: why do they feel the need to keep doing my girl Korra dirty like this? Everything that happens to her and now she’s gonna get blamed for this world-ruining cataclysm? Bryan! Michael! Leave my girl alone!!

So I wasn’t cast in a local production of Macbeth, which sucks bc it’s friggin Macbeth, and I figured I could then call myself a Shakespearean actor! 😅 Anyway I got some good feedback from the director, so I’ll share it a little bit later bc it can apply to any actor!

I like fireworks, and love the chance to shoot them off. But I also understand the reasons folks like pet owners (as one myself) and those with PTSD don’t like them. If you’re reckless with them though, you’re a moron, period. I’m a big fireworks safety guy, so no sympathy if you lose a finger.

🧵 This is my own immediate thought, but I just saw a clip on Facebook of the current Yellow Wiggle, Tsehay Hawkins (who’s a black woman) that she posted, dancing to one of the Wiggles songs with the word “knickerbocker” in it (1/2)

Auditioned for a play last Monday, and got the news today I wasn’t offered a role, and to be honest I’m kinda relieved. Don’t get me wrong I would’ve loved to have been in it, but having just gotten done with being in The Lion in Winter, I think I’ve earned a breather from stage plays 🤣 (1/4)

I have a need to flesh out a homebrew chapter that’s been rattling around in my brain, a Loyalist Emperor’s Children successor chapter that primarily focuses on sword mastery in combat, devoted to using their skills to best their heretic brothers, wherever they may appear.
