One thing that I think went under the radar in 2026.3 was the ability to use the new UI scope. It makes PSU behave a bit more like WinForms. You can use $UI to access components and then update their properties without calling Get-UDElement or Set-UDElement.

We designed the new menu in PowerShell Universal to be more extensible and we'll be releasing user-driven customization in an upcoming version. You'll be able to customize the grouping, order, icon and text for menu items. In the future, we're considering admin-provided menu configurations.

Made some progress on replacing our deck posts. The previous posts were direct contact with the cement, didn’t use any kind of hardware and are on a slab and not on a footing. Surprised it lasted this long. I decided to skip tearing out the pad for footings. Pad it about 6 inches thick.

Just finished our biannual Jeep overlanding trip. We completed Red Cone, Mosquito, Cumberland and Tin Cup pass. Great views, some technical driving and amazing campgrounds.

It's about to get really smokey for us in northern WI. It's really unfortunate to see the Boundary Waters burn like this. I've spent a lot of time camping and fishing in the area.
