I definitely underestimated when the doctors told me going on HRT would make me lose at least 20% muscle mass. Before I could easily do 15-20 pull ups, and I was almost able to do one arm pull-up. Now 3 years on hormones its hard to do 3😅😆 #HRT #transfemme #trans

5of6 I was “lucky” that I learned to disassociate instead of what happened to a lot of trans kids my time. They ended up taking their own life because of the pain was just too much to handle.

4of6 Puberty is scary and new, it's not meant to leave us scarred and traumatised, non-trans people don’t realise just how fundamentally different we experience puberty, and that inability to have empathy towards trans people that stops our access to life saving treatment, does kill us.
