I agree to an extent but I have a lot of confidence in this group especially as it’s been added to this summer - I think we can afford to take a few more risks. Easy to say of course

And you see the thinking behind the sub aswell, it’s filling gaps and counter pressing etc. I just think it’s the wrong one when we should have had an eye on keeping our own threat and methods of attack in play

The hinge point for me was on the hour mark. That’s when we ceded control, for me. From that point on we couldn’t throw much back at Brighton at all, and that kind of situation always has a time limit before it goes wrong. And that can be true without us hanging on, like you say, we defended well

That’s fair too, but if he’s good for the bench he’s good for 25-30 minutes surely? Otherwise why have him there. Personally, in that situation with half an hour or so to go I think I’d have thrown Bahoya in. For the chaos factor, as a threat in behind - think it would have given them the fear

Feels harsh. think he's a good option but plays quite differently to DCL, but Farke uses him as if they're interchangeable and he looks much lesser because of it. certainly isnt as good back to goal

Not sure what the risk would be with Mudryk if we can get him done. Obviously guaranteeing minutes is ridiculous but either he’s strong cover for okafor, or he’s as good as he was and becomes our best forward from the word go. Just make sure the terms make sense #LUFC

Trafford is a huge upgrade already imo, but I’m so impressed with tarik coming in. I honestly thought it would be impossible to upgrade on Struijk and also get a player with the same main strengths in terms of left foot, strong aerially AND a great passer. Incredible deal

Certainly doesn’t under farke. He always struck me as quite a clever lad and seemed to think about missed chances a lot, like you say. Another coach definitely finds a use for him, even as a facilitator for more confident finisher. Gnonto would be a great second striker
