The narrative around the cost of Glastonbury tickets has come around again with it being the most expensive they’ve ever been. It’s expensive at face value. But consider it’s 5 day festival with hundreds of stages/acts AND you can take your own food & drink. It’s very good value.

I have been a treadmill only runner for a very long time. I preferred not to think about where I’m going or having to be careful of my surroundings. But I ran a beautiful route that I found walking recently with open fields. It was hard (my fitness isn’t good rn) but I’m so glad I did it.

I’ve been a bit quiet on here this week but it was a great one. I turned 30, had a week off and spent it decorating our living room and going to an afternoon tea. I bought myself a kindle too to get back into reading before holiday. It’s been great.

A rant.. I don’t think it’s said enough how important context is a work meeting. A good meeting is one that introduces the topic at the start, sets the scene and then goes into the discussion. Not just “what do think of this?” straight away. I need to understand why you’re asking that question.
