Pretty much sums up how musculoskeletal clinicians should view their role in managing patients with painful lumbar radiculopathy. Even when patients get injections or attend for surgical opinions, this still holds true. I wonder how much this mindset applies to other MSK conditions 🤔 #LongGame

'Nice' paper highlighting some criticism and recommendations on the 2016 NICE low back pain guidelines. 'Sciatica' is in the title, but there’s no substantial guidance on it - or on LSS, for that matter. Maybe it’s time to take it out and produce separate guidance. bjsm.bmj.com/content/earl...
