You could add Holl, Nylander and Steeves to complete the set

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I for one am here for the team being less horrible to watch on a nightly basis and getting bounced first round, game 7 (as is tradition)

I’m the same way, and found Tenet very frustrating. Loved the first two Batman films, The Prestige, Inception and Memento though.

The hot dog bowl bit at the doctor’s office kills me every single time.

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

Wow that’s horrendous, though I can’t imagine teams were kicking down doors trying to acquire him. But to go from Minten and a first to this in a little over a season … woof

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 16/06/2026

I don’t know Andrae well enough to make a fully formed opinion, but Woll was not the goalie I would’ve wanted them to move. But I guess no one was taking Stolarz

I’ve been enjoying it quite a bit, myself

Exactly this, and thanks for saying it. (And for Absolute Wonder Woman, god damn it is so good)

Listen. I’m tired. So if you’re a writer and I see you posting an Ai book cover/art that’s just — at best — an instant mute, if not a block. If you’re not supporting other creative industries you don’t deserve my support. And if you support Ai in art, I assume you didn’t write your book/comic/etc.

This is the correct response. A song I already had no time for that I now actively hate

Would love to read this — except the IGN website has become legitimately impossible to read on any mobile browser.

Literally just said the same thing

Feeling my interest in this team fade into oblivion in real time

110

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

I’d bet an irresponsible amount of money that Boston is getting the sixth pick.

120

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 10/04/2026

This is the first season watching this cursed team where I’m legitimately thinking, “hey, maybe I just don’t want to do this anymore.”

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 09/04/2026

It’s a fine thing to put on in the background and barely pay attention to, I find.

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 29/03/2026

“At least somewhat” is carrying a pretty decent amount of weight in that sentence. Hahaha

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 13/03/2026

Watching not one single Maple Leaf respond after their captain gets hurt in a demonstrably dirty play honestly makes me embarrassed to be a fan of this team. #Leafsforever

The living embodiment of Flanders’ “we’ve tried nothing and we’re all out of ideas”

110

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 07/03/2026

If he’s not, I’m honestly not sure I can slog through the style of play in these games anymore

120

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

Can’t wait for this team to be a joke for another decade. Woof.

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 05/03/2026

I miss Twitter like … four times a year, maybe. Well worth it to escape that hellscape.

It’s almost like Berube is a bad coach or something

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Game of inches/missed opportunities, and Hellebuyck stole that one. No matter the result though, 3 on 3 OT is a criminal way to finish an Olympic gold medal game.

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Too many guys trying to do it themselves there in OT

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 22/02/2026

Going back to watching the Leafs after this is going to be *tough*

020

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 15/02/2026

You know they’re starting him in elimination games — just have to hope the rest of the team can insulate him enough.

010

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

After seeing Ghost in Toronto last night — I am all in on phones being locked away for live shows. What a difference to not have a sea of screens in front of you, and the crowd was SO much more engaged.

030

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

Agreed. Whatever the end result ends up being, it will likely be a march towards it that is both slower and more painful than it should be.

110

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

I know people keep saying “oh you can’t blow this team up,” but I truly wish they would. I can only watch the same unlikable losers lose in the exact same way for so many years before *I* start to feel like the problem.

110

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 25/01/2026

Imagine being a Toronto Maple Leafs fan and trekking to see them in a snowstorm — only to sit in your massively overpriced seat to get *this* in response? And after that joke of a Vegas game? Abhorrent effort after abhorrent effort, year after year. Groundhog Day for utter mediocrity.

111

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 22/12/2025

He needs to go, but I am not looking forward to Lalonde in his place

110

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 12/11/2025

That they keep putting him in is truly an organizational failure.

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 01/11/2025

I can’t watch this anymore. This team is putrid.

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 19/10/2025

Other teams run him because they know they can, and he’s arguably the team’s most important player. Last night was absolutely gutless.

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 19/10/2025

I’d be content to never see Carlo in a Leafs jersey ever again after last night.

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 19/10/2025

Well, he was lacking in options with Carlo just standing there and watching.

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 13/10/2025

They really do have a habit of making goalies you wouldn’t expect look like Vezina candidates

010

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 30/08/2025

Loved this book — and have since started Ice Cream Man and am loving that, too.

000

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 17/07/2025

You very well might be right there — I’d be willing to bet one would end up getting claimed with injuries out of camp, etc

010

Adam Carter @adamcarterwrites.bsky.social · 17/07/2025

I don’t mind it if they’re moving out a couple of guys from the bottom six, but not if he joins a overstuffed crew of “meh”
