Thanks. I navigated around the VM issues, just thought I'd let you know cos I guess plenty will use your guide and try it out on KVM and fall at the first hurdle.
It's interesting you've moved to KDE. I quite like having a choice of X and Wayland. Also stripping out snapd is smart.
