I just wanna shitpost about how I’m just out here trying to make my bisexual exes regret breaking up with me when they thought I was a man, but I can’t, because Republicans are out here persecuting trans people and trying to start WW3 to distract people from the Epstein files.

Thinking about this quote from Persepolis creator Marjane Satrapi again.

Picture of Marjane Satrapi alongside a quote from her. The quote reads:

The world is not divided into countries. The world is not divided between East and West. You are American, I am Iranian, we don't know each other, but we talk together and we understand each other perfectly. The difference between you and your government is much bigger than the difference between you and me. And the difference between me and my government is much bigger than the difference between me and you.

And our governments are very much the same...

- Marjane Satrapi, Iranian-French graphic novelist

It’s almost absolutely meaningless to say I don’t support this war, or the genocide preceding it, but I have no idea what else I can do except be a voice in the void.

2 years ago, I came out publicly by posting a comic on the same day I started HRT. It resonated with a lot of people, and since I deleted my twitter I'd like for it to have a place here on bsky instead. (1/3)

Are they different sizes? If not I would have them have a different amount of sides. Something to easily distinguish them from each other when you reach into a pocket or pouch to pull some money out. Most modern currency uses size to distinguish, but shape used to also be very common.

They seem to think that unless the majority acts in accordance with their beliefs, then that amounts to an attack on their beliefs.

000

Ada Graves @ada.rainbowcommunism.org · 01/10/2025

Also, at least in the modern incarnation, they believe people disagreeing with them or challenging them, no matter how benign, to be others trying to exercise that “right” against them. They seem unable to distinguish from public opinion being against them to violent repression of their beliefs.

The difference between normal people and fascists is that while normal people may have opinions about how other people behave, they know they have no right to force people to change their behavior. Fascists think they have that right.

Terrible analogy. Contractors contribute way more to development than fathers do. Fathers barely come in until it’s time to develop dlc, and even then their level of contributions is spotty across the industry. A few good ones, but mostly meh.

Not highly anticipated. Just anticipated. We expect this FPS to come out. Will it be good? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I originally thought, “this has to be AI, right?” But I’m not sure an ai would make that mistake.
