When has Trump ever said anything against Vladimir Putin?

What if you ask the inhabitants of the islands? Or do the people you wish to hand over not count?

Only if you can charge at home.

Or Sheffield-Manchester. Or East Anglia.

Indeed. We all know how human drivers never collide with anything...

Building either would be an improvement. And we will not allow any of those.

They don't. But anything thst splits the Tories risks sending people to Reform, and reuniting the Right under Farage.

Is uniting the Right under Nigel Farage really that great?

ad99.bsky.social @ad99.bsky.social · 10/10/2026
Could that option unite Tories/ Reform?

An English nationalist would like England a lot. Is that true of Polanski, or does he dislike Englsnd a lot?

Dont the LibDems usually lose support between elections? So stagnation might be an unususlly good performance from them.

If no one is allowed to build a house, the only way to get one is to take it from someone else.

All these complsints about housing costs, and yet none of them want to make it easier to build a house.

Thatcher did not do much worse than Labour among the young. Or Cameron. It is Brexit that cratered their support among the anti-Brexit generations.

They can say that when the law is passed. But most people will have forgotten by the election.

One thinks of the fellow who said Effective Altruism is hated by the Right because they are against Altruism, and by the Left because they are against Effectiveness.

Is there any country in which this is not true? The people the voters always prioritise, are the voters.

Surely being a Starmer loyalist only requires you to believe he has a claim on your loyalty?

I do not see us getting all the opt-outs again. They would be foolish to let us back in on those terms.

In what way does your vote count if everyone knows who will win before you vote?
001
ad99.bsky.social @ad99.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
I did not say otherwise. But if one betrays those that trusted it, it is going to be less trusted in future than it was. No amount of declaring that other countries are not perfectly trustworthy will change that.

Then they are not reliable.
100
ad99.bsky.social @ad99.bsky.social · 29/09/2026
The standard for "reliable" is whether they will return a favour. If you do not trust someone to do that, you do not trust him, regardless of whether you trust someone else.

I seem to remember a lot of articles abiut the psycholgy of Covid alarmists in early 2020. I seem to recall that the alarmists were right to be alarmed about a pandemic.

If the voters are "post-material", why do political parties keep promising them goodies for free?

An irrational act, generally, is one that makes no sense, given the situation and your goals. It suggests an inability to think straight. A lot of cities were rationaly burned down during the world wars.
100
ad99.bsky.social @ad99.bsky.social · 25/09/2026
I have not seen the end of the show, so do not really know. But i wish people would distinguish between an irrational act and one of which they morally disapproved.
