It’s okay to consume content that supports your views and preconceptions. But you absolutely must consume content from sources you disagree with. Even if - especially if - it makes you angry. You MUST be willing to challenge your beliefs every day.

Good. That report should be public. The government works for us, and should be fully transparent at all times - with few exceptions (eg national security).

I disagree with Goldstein here. That said, it’s no sin for the @nytimes.com to run editorials from all corners of the political spectrum. This isn’t a case of “anticipatory obedience,” it’s a case of the Times editorial section doing exactly what an editorial section is supposed to do.
