Our children are benefiting from us going through therapy and realizing we ain’t have to repeat some of the traumas from our pasts. They raised us differently because they had to be extremely protective. Times were different. At least the dangers were slightly.

So proud of my nephew. He’s an rising Sophmore in college with a 3.6 GPA as a mechanical engineering major and loves to cook. He sends me his dishes and asks tons of questions. He told me his girlfriend will never go hungry. Proud Uncle.

Too much death and violence. One of my frat brothers was shot and killed last night. A jealous ex boyfriend. Mistaken identity. Was shot while showing the shooter he had the wrong guy. Drove himself to the firestation. Died during surgery. Arrest was made. Too much death and violence.
