Spooky season at Michaels. Most wonderful time of the year. But, ah, my wallet weeps ... #halloween

A person crouching with arms outstretched, clutching at the box of a "Christmas tree" in the shape of a witch's hat. Their head is down as though they are in despair at the price tag.

A black Christmas tree in the shape of a witch's hat; it has a wider taper near the bottom and the top of the tree leans over for the tip of the hat. It is covered in orange, green and purple lights.

Sewing new vest (for wife) and making more chainmail tonight, lads Happy pride

A denim vest flat on the floor with a back patch about to be sewn in that says "be gay, do crimes" with a rainbow skull in the center

Protoverse Major Arcana - XIX - The Sun The Sons of Fate Megaman: I will not fight you! I'll stand beside you! You're still their hero! Protoman: You have no choice. I stand alone. They are fools. Megaman: This cannot be the ONLY WAY! #protomen #theprotomen

A tarot card named The Sun depicting two robots facing off. On the left is Protoman in red, and on the right is Megaman in blue. Their helmets are nearly touching. Protoman's eye and weapon are glowing. Megaman's fist is cocked near Protoman's helmet.

The fandom has been calling her Roll since the single came out years ago, and many fanarts have shown her with classic Roll colours (Long blonde hair, blue-eyed, pale skin and green ribbon) but that felt overdone for me so I started with the darker skin, green/hazel eyes, and short brown hair.

The same tarot card but with alternate colours on the girl: she has paler skin, bright blue eyes, blonde hair and her bandana is bright green.

Protoverse Major Arcana - III - The Queen The as-of-yet unnamed Girl from Act III. I drew every brick and every piece of grafitti myself - there's hints to the street team, 525-SEA, and robot masters in there. I also tried to mimic the handwriting on the Hope Is Coming Back from the poster.

A tarot card named The Queen depicting a young woman with mocha skin, green eyes, and short brown hair in a bright pink leather jacket looking over her shoulder. A purple bandana is covering her face. She is holding a spraypaint can and just behind her is a brick wall where she has scribbled "hope is coming back".

Protoverse Major Arcana - XIII - Death Trying to figure out exactly *which* death to depict for this card was difficult. But this was the one that started it all for Tom, so it had to be. "Darling Emily ... everything I have done, I have done for you. But it's turned out all wrong" #protomen

A tarot card named Death which depicts the silhouettes of Tom and Emily. Tom cradles Emily's body while blood runs down her arm.

Protoverse Major Arcana - XVII The Star The Star of course had to be the iconic shard of light that served as part of the Act I logo, which featured prominently on the old websites and key art. "Twenty floors above the dark streets of the city, Dr. Light lived in a run-down tenement..." #protomen

A tarot card inspired by rock-opera band The Protomen. It features an abandoned-looking warehouse with satellite dishes on the roof. There is a bright light coming from the top of the building in the shape of a star, hinting that at least one person is working within.

I've started a Protomen-inspired tarot deck for myself. It'll be just the Major Arcana, so 22 cards total. Let's start at zero - The Fool(s) #protomen #tarot #theprotomen "(...) from the crowd, from their collective fear, Arose these broken words: We are the dead"

A tarot card (named zero -The Fool) depicting a crowd of frenzied silhouettes standing in a mob before a radio tower. The tower looms over them, emanating waves of static. A lone figure ahead holds up the red helmet of Protoman.

Khajiit had wares if you had coin this last halloween

The interior of a large tent in front of a garage is decorated with fabric and string lights. There are leaves on the ground and it is raining and foggy. A table with candy and prizes is in the centre. A sandwich board sign says "Chance Game" and lists different prizes. On the table is a garapon-style lotto machine. Behind the table a figure in a cat skull mask adorned with flowers grins with tooth and claw as they invite you in to try your luck and win your candy.

I made buttons yesterday and it felt so good to *make* something again. Made a good little handful and can't wait to give these out.

Pin buttons that say "Punk is Kind!" in white text on black background. The text is highlighted in different colors to make it pop.

Hey y'all so @sukichanra.bsky.social is a scammer that you can go ahead and just block. They have no original posts of their own, follow 400+ people but only have 17 followers, no replies but emojis, bad grammar, asked me where I live and just DM'd me for $. Yikes, hard pass #scam #scammer

Taught myself new #chainmail weaves - Persian 4-1 (left) was insufferable to start but once I got going, I got the hang of it. Byzantine (right) was much easier, just a box chain with a reversed face. Yay!

WIP of E4-1 weave, basic 14AWG 3/8" aluminum #chainmail. Feels so cool :3 It's not a lot, but for a beginner that started a month ago, I am proud! Now I gotta find a workspace that isn't my bedroom. Metal shavings in sheets is probably not good...
