Anyhow I still have´nt managed to install CORNS VST...but I´m mainly using Reaper which it turns out uses AU format which installed properly. Info like that from a member would have kept me going really fast as an interim fix. Its about helping each other with that sort of thing.

My solution is to create what is missing in their group here. IT´S NOT TO BE A PLACE TO BAG THE COMPANY...OR CONSTANLY BITCH. IT IS A PLACE TO HELP EACH OTHER BEFORE THE NEED TO SUBMIT A TICKET TO THIER CUSTOMER SUPPORT. I like the short Twitter style format too...so we can get to the point.

I´m fine with this as the group was´nt at all useful. As it stands its a just locked down marketing vehicle where customers are silenced...like Mussolini´s idea of community.

Anyhow the moderator removed the post, based on it breaking the groups rules. Fair enough. I then sent a reply to the notification along the lines of ¨ÖK, FUCK THIS THEN¨ ...which resulted in a ban from the group. I had asked for help 1 other time before. I knew the risks ;-)

Its fine to make rules but this does´nt give any room for networking or group members being able to help one another or get to know each other which is what I look for in a good group and community.

I also know that their group is NOT A SUPPORT GROUP. They don´t want you discussing problems, bugs, other manufacturers products or discussing any thing off topic.

I got a reply from the CEO and GM but they clearly did´nt understand the problem I was having. I don’t expect them to have the time for this but members often do and want to help or have encountered the same problem That is the nature of why you would join a community...

I always join groups for the community support. Members often have a solution or work arounds or better knowledge of how something should work I can learn from. Groups and communities have be valuable for me to learn from.
