My favorite things about Mafia the Old Country: *HORSES. There's cars, but nothing beats clomping through the hills, splashing through ravines. *KNIVES. Speedy nid-combat takedowns are worth seeing. Duels kick ass. *ROMANCE. Enzo & Isabella are great sweetharts. Half my screens are just them.

Inability to change the OC's appearance aside, the Dynasty Warriors Origins demo is incredible fun. Feels like Omega Force HAD to fumble through 9 and SW5 to nail modern battlefields and the active skills. "Elite" troops are a threat again, positioning really matters, and HE took me 2 hrs to beat

The Deep Space 9 table is so tricky for me to nail, but so satisfying. The diplomacy bars are a cute conceit that don't complicate the table much. Main mode is surprisingly deep, speedrunning the Dominion War--complete with Captain's Logs. AND the Avery Brooks sound-alike is kinda fire.

This leg of a WRC 10 rally brought me so much joy. My car was banged up much earlier, and this was my 3rd straight stage before I'd be allowed to repair. I had to drive SO carefully, wincing at every little ding, RT tense in response to the cumulative damage. A TRIUMPH when I reached the finish!
