Haven't carved a pumpkin in over 5 years but my crafter's audacity demanded I try doing a void angel - and I'm super happy with how it turned out! Happy Halloween!! #warframefanart

There's no context hahah, sometimes I just get a super strong visual in my head and I decided to draw it this time :3 Glad it came out so evocative, thank you!!

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 03/10/2025

"Why do all of your characters have a short bob" divine intervention next question

010

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 23/09/2025

Daily sketch led to me suddenly updating a very old character design heehee

111

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 22/09/2025

A little Hikaru for a friend!

010

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 17/09/2025

The issue now is that I have no idea what's wrong with it lmao but I'll figure it out

010

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 17/09/2025

Was going a bit insane trying to figure out why this drawing I'm working on looked a bit off, so I traced one of my reference images (that's at a different angle) to check the proportions and I somehow got everything dead on??? Like even the face shape was exactly the same????

110

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 14/09/2025

The image compression is not doing it justice oof

010

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 14/09/2025

Absolutely OBSESSED with the texture this Krita brush set is capable of (link! krita-artists.org/t/memileo-im... )

Already had multiple instances when it just fully stopped working - but re-installing the drivers immediately fixed it hnsjfhbsjgfshff

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 09/09/2025

Reposting because I still can't get over the fact that I actually finished it (and that it's been over a month. what.) Anyway 5 pages of Mirage woo!!! #warframefanart

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 09/09/2025

corporations being able to control what kind of art we're allowed to see on the internet is bad

This is a PSA for anyone who follows artists: Your comments are NOT annoying! I think I speak for many of us we are starved for praise on our work so please if you have something to say lay it on thick WE LIKE IT. I promise you it is not seen as cringe or a bother, we love the interaction!

And yeah, this took .... way longer than expected lmao but I had such a good time working on it!! I'm already itching to make more comics even though I'm exhausted ahahah

010

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 21/07/2025

aaaaaa thank youuuu ;-; Honestly the only reason I was able to nail the design is because I. kept obsessively drawing her in my sketchbook. after completing her in-game quest lmao She's just such a fascinating character and I'm glad I was able to convey that, even if you know nothing about the game!

110

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 18/07/2025

I'm so excited about the comic being out in the world like aaahhhh I did it!!! It took way longer than expected, but I learned a lot and I can't wait to work on the next project - after a bit of a break hahah

This is a reminder this site's staff are not our friends. Palestinian people, black people, & trans folk have all been scapegoated despite actively being part of helping build this site's success. The community & care we bring makes this site grow & profitable, but we're readily sold out by them.

Anyway rant over. I'm just tired. Feeling a bit useless as the rich continue to burn everything

010

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

this lawsuit of theirs is not a fight against AI, but a fight to maintain the iron grip they have on their products (created by overworked and underpaid employees) to ensure their monopoly never loses a single cent

110

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

Like if Disney executives could fire all of their employees and replace then with genAI models in order to maximise profits, then continue to hunt down anyone infringing on their IPs, they would do it in a heartbeat -

110

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

And I know simply saying capitalism bad isn't enough to actually change anything, but this whole debate has just been so frustrating to follow and I wish we'd move away from the whole 'idea theft' thing and focus on. you know. exploitation of labour?

110

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

You cannot meaningfully change copyright law within a system that is built upon exploitation

110

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

Obviously these examples are drastically different, but they stem from the same issue - intellectual property laws under capitalism are not designed to protect anybody but those rich enough to crush others with lawsuits, and whenever it does benefit the average person it's purely incidental

110

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 25/06/2025

This whole conversation about how we need copyright law in order to fight back against genAI is making me think back to when the COVID-19 vaccines were first coming out and we had constant shortages because only like 3 pharmaceutical companies had the rights to manufacture and distribute them

110

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

I'd gladly offer you my OCs to draw as well but only one of them has a colored sketch soooo here's Iira again! (I will make a proper reference sheet. someday lmao)

010

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

(so yeah now I have two new OCs to take care of - Mushica the demon, and Clover, who summoned her :3)

110

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 15/06/2025

I left her a coin and now she won't stop gushing about this human girl she met a while ago, I think she called her Clover??? I think this demon might be gay or something

210

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 18/05/2025

Cute demon that keeps showing up in my sketchbook, what should I do???

122

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 13/05/2025

(Major Warframe spoilers, including New War!!) Some simple Sentient studies because I love their designs :3

011

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

She's an OC I've been working on and maybe some day I will give her a story to live in. for now. petri dish :3

000

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 06/05/2025

Been thinking about my pet unethical scientist a lot lately

121

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 01/05/2025

(I feel like I should also point out that this story takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting far in the future, so the "magic" and "gods" function a little differently than a typical fantasy :3)

010

Robin @actuallyimabird.bsky.social · 01/05/2025

She is the stealthiest of her group heheh And she's mainly in this line of work because she doesn't really have other options - she's a descendant of a god, so many people are looking to take advantage of her - and being a mercenary let's her take back some semblance of control :)
