snippet of a sytk fic thats kinda stuck in limbo.. maybe one day

"What the hell are you saying?" Taki sputtered, properly red now. "As if I'd go for someone as high-maintenance and crabby like you."
"You really know how to make a girl feel special.”
Taki sat back down. Crossed her legs.
"Well?" And her tone was hard, but her bangs had grown a touch too long over the summer, curtaining her eyes in a way that felt oddly girlish. If Soyo reached out, she could brush them away and reveal something softer underneath.
"Sure," Soyo said, fingers resting on the rough of her strings. "Don't keep me out too late, Taki-chan."

By the time they got out of rehearsal, the sun had slipped behind the tall Tokyo buildings, and Soyo’s usual cafes were closed for the day. Taki insisted they walk around and try find an open one. When Soyo pointed at the vending machines they passed-- so they could buy their drinks and get on with their separate lives-- Taki just scoffed and mumbled something about Soyo being too classy for canned stuff, which, in addition to the weird look Tomori gave when Taki sent her home alone, really didn't convince Soyo that this wasn't a roundabout way of tricking her into a date.

not academic in a strictly scientific sense if that's what you're looking for, but Leatherfolk (edited Mark Thompson) is a collection of essays from BDSM fetishists that may interest you! it was originally published in the 90s, included the ToC in case you want to look any individual essays up!

senzai hyoumei expert was my favorite garupa map to play so i REALLY noticed it playing the our notes version.. made a couple comparison videos but man it breaks my heart how heavily it was simplified, especially bc the garupa map wasnt that hard to begin with imo
