Found the whole Djerik gaming table gang on cults3D. The sparkly blue filament I used for the wormy guy killed my printer with a tiny bit of broken plastic in the print head. I’ll get it out eventually.

This diorama has more of a Sunday morning vibe but here it is on a Friday. The price of these little blind boxes keeps the amount of goofy food and drinks in check. Cafe pod model by Rebel base builds

So much Star Wars this month and I haven’t even posted once. Went to may the 4th at Disneyland and I’m building a display shelf for loose figures. Files from the smuggler’s room

Best 90s action figure line imo. Kenner went nuts with colonial marines and included the female characters (tho they are more rare)

Printing up characters from one of the Ewok movies. Teek was made once as an action figure for a star tours set but I don’t think I’ll ever track that down. 3D printed is fine, gives me a chance to get the paints out. Models by Funky Maclunkey

Printing some new shelves for my drone display. Might shift the upper layer over to make room for the storage pod. Two of the bigger guys needed some regluing so they are spending some time on their heads. I’ve had that hobby vice since the 70s, same decade as the movie they’re from- #SilentRunning

@monsterpartyhq.bsky.social never knew what Varna was til this week’s gift guide episode. Already gifted myself Larry’s suggestion of Godzilla beer

"Varan the Unbelievable" refers to a 1958 Japanese kaiju film, originally titled Daikaijū Baran, and its heavily re-edited 1962 American version. The film features Varan, a giant, prehistoric, gliding reptile

Spirit has a huge Creature plush. Bit too expensive for me at $38. Almost got a 1/1 creature rubber head at closeout last year but rubber doesn’t age too well here. I got this little guy years ago, the tag says it’s from 99 but it doesn’t seem like I’ve had him a quarter century #UniversalMonsters

Picked this up at a classic video game pop up. I worked at Sega during the 32x run and this game came up as a lesson in music licensing. Turns out you can negotiate a pretty good deal on music rights if you work it out before anything gets going. Music from all 3 of the og films ? 25¢ per disc!

Took a little time to jazz up the mounting board for my Star Wars door droid. Painted some old contact lens trays to make bolts

I finally completed a loose set of the Ghost crew. I might have to print the ghost cockpit- no room for the whole ship. I had a carded Hera but it’s the live action figure and wouldn’t blend well. For $12 I got simple Hera plus a rebels style stormtrooper commander

Book off came thru with a Star Wars Rebel set

The rest of the crew just got a new shelf. The new figs need stands before they can join the gang

Wrapped up the prototype figure shelf. A new model is coming out from the Smugglers Room soon so I won’t have to use tweaked vertical display case parts to make horizontal displays.

Ran out of the blue silk filament but luckily printed some greeblies in that color to liven up the grey section

Hanger parts. I found this on bambu labs site but I can’t find the maker

Right below the kitchen cork board. Too much sun in there but it’s not too direct

For a guy that doesn’t really collect anymore I sure have a lot of new figures

Finally added wee inner engines to the Rise of the Resistance intersystem transport ship. The big engines were from a U-Wing- ok but not ideal. These little engines are from the Onyx Cinder. I would probably use skinny X-wing engines next time. a#Disneyland #GalaxysEdge

Printed a little display pill created by Brian from the smugglers room. This is 60% of the default, it was more Star Wars Black Series scale. I added a door to the back, I think this is from another model from the same Patreon. www.patreon.com/thesmugglers...

Not the final location. I love these Star Wars: Resistance figures

Brian did a nice job with this. I adjusted my print to use two bottom halves with custom connectors since I didn’t need room for a light on top. A bigger version would be neat for a blaster display
