ACTG researched the efficacy of a three month clofazimine and high dose rifapentine containing treatment of tuberculosis versus a six month treatment in the CLO-FAST trial. Interim findings published in 2023, found the three month treatment to be ineffective. clinicaltrials.gov/study/NCT043...

Today is National Youth HIV/AIDS Awareness Day in the United States. In recent years, the number of new HIV/AIDS diagnoses has decreased among people aged 13 - 24. In 2022, there were 6,400 new HIV/AIDS diagnoses , a 30 percent decrease from 2018. #NYHAAD #HIVprevention #AIDSAwareness
