Excited to publish this #NSFFunded animated video project introducing neutrinos as imagined by the illustrator of “I’m a Neutrino”! A 60 second intro to the neutrino particle, the video features the Atacama Cosmology Telescope @act-pol.bsky.social! youtu.be/EHECLxbRN5w

Looking forward to sharing our new results from the Atacama Cosmology Telescope @act-pol.bsky.social tomorrow! - this is our final big 'DR6' data release and cosmology. We'll post papers on act.princeton.edu for 12-ET and then on arxiv.

What a beautiful picture of the infant Universe! Congratulations to @act-pol.bsky.social! Papers available from act.princeton.edu.
The CMB power spectra as observed by ACT, showing significantly smaller error bars than previous Planck results and extending to much higher multipoles.

Backlighting extended gas halos around luminous red galaxies: kinematic Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect from DESI Y1 x ACT
The gas density profile around galaxies, shaped by feedback and affecting the galaxy lensing signal, is imprinted on the cosmic microwave background (CMB) by the kinematic Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect (k...
