The constant headlines about this year's midterms can be overwhelming. But don’t let Trump and his allies gaslight you. There was no evidence to support their election denial in 2020, and there's no evidence for most of their claims today. And they know it. www.acluaz.org/news/electio...

The results of this investigation should come as no surprise -- Arizona has some of the strictest laws in the nation when it comes to ensuring that only eligible voters can vote. Those suggesting otherwise are trying to undermine trust & spread confusion.

But today's decision won't have an immediate impact on the midterms. The law is clear: because we're within 90 days of the election, counties are not allowed to conduct systematic voter purges using SAVE or any other database.

SAVE was created to help states verify the citizenship and immigration status of people looking to apply for government benefits - not screen voters. Using it to review thousands of voter records at once leads to frequent errors that can block eligible citizens from exercising their right to vote.
