As part of our partnership with Hospitality Connect, a group of students visited COMO Metropolitan London. They enjoyed a tour, food tasting, and an introduction from the General Manager and Head Chef, and gained a valuable insight into the range of careers available in the hospitality industry.

Last week a group of Y9s attended the opening of the Bayeux Tapestry exhibit at the British Museum. They saw the tapestry up close and watched speeches by King Charles, PM Andy Burnham and President Macron. Afterwards, the Prime Minister met our students – a memorable start to the new school year!

We loved welcoming our new Y7s to the Summer School this morning! Students learned about sequencing and probability in maths, created characters and stories in DT, practised drum beats in music, played football in PE and made indicators from cabbage to test for acids and alkalines in science.

News just in – Chris, who received his T Level qualification in Media, Broadcast and Production on Thursday has become a London finalist for the DfE's National Apprenticeship and Skills Award! He will soon be studying Film and TV at UAL and will find out the final outcome at a ceremony in October.

Our first cohort of T Level students received their results! Media, Broadcast & Production students had a 100% pass rate, with an exceptional 82% achieving a Merit or higher, including Keira & Julia who gained a Distinction & Merit respectively and will soon be studying at @manmetuni.bsky.social.
