my afternoon was spent making pesto from the basil plants finishing up their summer run 14 total batches is a nice result now I can do without seeing a basil plant for 6 months

two large plants, an absurd number of boughs to strip down

turns out it gave me roughly 8 cups of leaves, good for 4 batches

all blanched up with nowhere to go (except the food processor)

one new pack of containers, one bottle of olive oil, and one bag of Parmesan later
(the garlic and nuts are still in supply)
