[ It’s a short walk over. She doesn’t want him to travel far after such a long day—you could see the bags all too clearly under his eyes. When they arrive, they’re in front of an up and coming restaurant serving fine French cuisine. Harmony rushes at the door first, opening it dramatically. ]

[ She can’t help when her face grows a bit warm at the comment. However, all she does is smile in response. ] One person always pays for the other on a date, silly! And this is my treat. I invited you! It’s only right. [ Friend date or not, all the activities they shared together felt like real

100

[ She was planning on a café, but now that she thinks about it…why not go fancier? Make it a dinner date? …At least, in her mind. Some thoughts are better not spoken aloud. ] Can I surprise you? Also, you’re NOT paying.

000

Hah—! It’s really nothing! [ She scratches at the back of her neck, grinning wide. ] It’s weird not seeing you all the time, you know? So I thought…this would be nice. [ Some time alone with you is what she wanted to say, but she couldn’t bring herself to. If Urbain knew the extent of how much

100

[ Picking up speed, thrilled that she was able to catch him at the right time. With her arm outstretched, she offers a fist bump. ] Hi, ‘Bain! I hope it’s alright that I’m meeting you here. I figured I could find you right as you were leaving work, and…take you to get a bite for dinner!

000

[ Harmony’s been waiting for him to get out of work today, deciding to surprise him with a visit to a café to unwind. Then, maybe they could have one of those nights where they talk nonstop, like they used to. It’s been a while. She understood that he was busy, really. Even so…it was hard not to

100

Makes total sense! I still want to improve for you though. Imagine if I could add modeler to my resume! [ She gives Grimmsnarl a pat as a thank you for the help. ] Call me again if you need me, alright? And tell me what the Alolans think of the dress!!

000

[ All the comments are making her bashful. She grins from ear to ear, scratching at the back of her head. ] Ahah—you’re too sweet! Really! I’d be more than honored. And I’ll get better at posing, okay?

000

Let me be your model!! [ She says it a bit too enthusiastically, but how fun was that? And when else would she get to do something like that? ] I know I’m a bit rough around the edges, but I’ll at least let you take an okay photo for your website!

100

Ah, that’s great! Thanks Nav! [ She heads back to the bathroom, making haste to change. She carefully brings the dress back, handing it over gently. ] Here. Thank you again for letting me wear it. Your clients are going to go ballistic!

000

[SMS: URBAIN! ☀️ @city-of-light.bsky.social ] 📲: psssssst 📲: i wanna show u smth 📲: can i send a pic?

100

[ Harmony’s not the best at having her photo taken, standing a bit awkwardly as he snaps a few pictures. Big smile. ] Are they good? I look okay? [ She reaches behind her, fumbling, trying to pull down the zipper. ] Alright—should probably take it off now, yeah? Everything good with the dress?

000

Rotom phone, rotom phone…oh, shoot. I think it’s in my pants pocket. You mind taking one and sending it to me?

000

[ As the barrette is fastened into her hair, she sweeps aside one strand and stares at the mirror again. It’s so jarring seeing herself in something like this, yet the smile on her lips never leaves. ] You’ve really outdone yourself, Naveen. No wonder people all the way in Alola are reaching out

100

[ It’s like he’s taking the words right out of her mouth, plucking her specifically crafted style from her brain. It fascinates her, how the minds of creatives work! ] I’d—yeah, I’d really like that! But I’d have to figure out how to repay you, of course! And I’m not sure how yet, so I’ll have to

100

Like—a princess, or something! [ She’s beaming as she twirls, feeling the dress sashay around her. It wasn’t bunching awkwardly in any places, and no uncomfortable fabric. The person receiving this would be very lucky. ] One for me? No, you don’t have to do that. This had to have taken you hours!

100

Right, right! Okay. I can do that. [ So nervous! She takes the dress and heads into the bathroom, undressing before stepping into the masterfully crafted fabrics. She can zip it most of the way, but not quite. He’ll have to do the rest. Harmony carries the base of the dress in her arms as she

100

Are they? The whole thing looks completed already…! [ She reaches out to touch the skirt of the dress, mind wandering as she imagines herself wearing it. At a wedding. …Nope! Nope! It’s not for her, and she doesn’t even have anyone to marry. Still…it’s gorgeous. ] Are you sure you want me to

Oh, Arceus. [ The dress…is breathtaking. She steps towards it, eyes dancing across the flowers and vines, drinking in the details of the layers of ruffle. Everything about it is so carefully crafted. ] I knew you were talented, but 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴? Naveen…it’s stunning.

000

[ She blinks as she listens, watching him add in bribes before she could even give an answer. ] Try on clothes? That’s all? [ Harmony sort of feels like she owes him, anyways. It’s not as though she formally repaid him for the jacket. ] Of course I will! No reward needed. Can I see the outfit?

000

[ Stumbling in after Ariados, she wipes sweat off her forehead with the sleeve of her Team MZ jacket and takes a seat. ] Thank you Grimmsnarl! So chivalrous. Anyways—what did you need from me? I came as fast as I could!

000

[ Despite how large the city is, it’s not a long fly for Harmony. Dragonite soars at high speeds before landing on Hotel Z’s rooftop lookout, carefully letting her trainer down before being left to perch in the sun. She opts for the stairs rather than the elevator, panting as she reaches his door.]

100

GOOOD MORNING LUMIOSE! ☀️

320

[ Lucky for him, she’s wrapping up a trainer battle! Calling back Emboar, singing her praises to him for the win, before checking her Rotom phone. ] Oh, shoot. [ SMS: Naveen! 🧵] 📲: naaaaav imcOmin! 📲: gimnefibemins!!! [ Typos everywhere. 💧 But off she goes on Dragonite’s back! ]

000

Pff. Why would that make you bad? It’s YOUR birthday! [ She opens the note app, beginning to write down her plan. Ube for the cake, a couple ideas for party favors, and…a whole bunch of links to instruments? She didn’t know he could play. He was always so quiet about his interests, outside

[ She’s grinning at his response, trying to keep in her excitement. Harmony was planning on surprising him with a gift, but if he gave them all something to work with himself, even better! Though, knowing her, she’d still find a way to add a surprise in there. ] Okay, perfect! Send it to my rotom

100

Naveen… [ Her heart sinks as she listens, pouting slightly. As the newest member of Team MZ, she often felt as if she missed the memo, somehow. A bit embarrassed. Even so… ] Okay, then! That just means I’ll have to work extra hard to make this one as good as I can! You deserve more than to panic

100

Wait, what? [ She frowns, stopping in her tracks. ] Shoot, Nav—the last thing I wanna do is make you feel that way! But, I wouldn’t feel right not making you feel special on your birthday, either…!

000

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

NAVEEEEEN! [ Running at him at lightning speed! ] HEY! Hey, hey! I asked Urbain, but he said you hadn’t mentioned anything, so I had to ask you myself—how do you want to be celebrated?!

000

We’ve updated our rooms, breakfast is now included with your stay, there’s an area for Pokémon battles out back… so much! Oh, and our rooftop access is now a full blown lounge! Really nice spot to watch the sun set.

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Eheheh… it was for a good cause, honest! [ Awkwardly scratching her cheek, grinning. ] We’ll—work on that. You should swing by the hotel some time! We’ve made some really great new changes!

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Still—?! 💧 He’s as much of a fan as you can get!

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Thank you Gwynn! Hey! You and Naveen get along yet?

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

[ Tepig’s nose wriggles as the foreign object is placed on it. Harmony squeals. ] Oh how handsome! He’s like a little scholar!

000

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

He’s perfect! You get it!! ♡

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

“Ah—! Professor Sycamore!” It’s a surprise, to say the least. Harmony beams at the praise. “It was nothing, really! I have a great team and the support of the best city in the world.”

000

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

[ Blink. Pointing at self. ] ?

000

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

[ Grinning, bringing the Tepig back into her arms. It’s like he could read his mind. ] I really do owe you one for him, ‘Bain. I’m the luckiest trainer in the world because of you.

000

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Awww! Thank you Elesa! I think he likes you. 💕

༄ Harmony! @aceofmz.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

[ Tepig huffs. A cloud of heat hits his face. ] You’re in luck! I think he might like you!

He says, thank you Lida! 💕

000

[ She raises the little guy to be eye-level with Urbain. Tepig blinks. ] Hm…I don’t think so. Why don’t you let him know?

Ah, come on…you know it’s not that I don’t like it! It’s quite delicious. Really, a genius idea to combine a flaky, buttery soft croissant with. Well. Buttery soft curry! But every night? Can we expand our menu, just a liiittle bit? I don’t want to resent your specialty!

000

He seems happy to hear. 🩷

Tell him you love him. Or else.

040

Chocolate croi—with CURRY? Nononono. Ah, haha! No! That’s fine! Let’s. Let’s do takeout today! Okay? Haha. I’ll buy! So you can…rest! You’re always soooo busy. Okay. I’m ordering.
