they added a new event once everyone has their combat gear. there's a bit with junpei being the only one not worrying, but at the end of the scene, he does seem worried, and i just have to wonder if there were two teams writing each half of this scene?... i have more thoughts on this scene too.

this is further supported if you look at the event scripts in P4 PS2 vs P4G. there is a whole section for fog missing in P4G. (left is P4G, right is P4 PS2)

fun thing i discovered today: when you arrive at the gas station in Persona 4, the PS2 version adds additional fog to the town that is missing in P4G. comparing a normal cloudy day to that event, you can see that in P4 PS2, there is noticeably more fog, unlike P4G.
