I've seen something similar once when an orchestra was playing classical music. There was a single person on stage controlling the stage lights and projections of colors and patterns. There was some sort of theory behind it. But I forgot what they said it was (Saw that show over 20 years ago) : }

Been working on a commissioned design for a client. There is no labeling or silk screening on it yet, so right now it's a "mysterious black box". Audio goes in, audio comes out, two glowing buttons and a knob. What does it do? ; } #electronics #audioprocessing #diy #pedals

Black box with two (2) large glowing buttons, one (1) control knob and three (3) cables connected.

Andrew "Ace" Arsenault @acearsenault.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

Wow, that's a nice looking instrument! Yes, bass allows for a more "sloppy" playing style. The pitch isn't as sensitive, just as long as you fill out the bottom end of the mix. : }

Mark Sandman was part of my inspiration for this. He took the idea of the Diddley Bow and took it to the next level. I always liked the Diddley Bow and wondered how to make it a more "Modern" instrument. So that's kind of how I came up with this design. : }
