Exactly. The time to stop this was 2024. We need to instead concentrate on reforming the court. That is the only way we get out of this and it should go without saying that it's going to be a long painful journey. We have to be as committed to changing it as they were to rigging it.

We threw a tantrum in 2024 and this is the consequence. Thomas will also step down in November if Democrats win. The only way to fix the court is to play the long game and put real fixes in. That means expanding, term limits and insisting on a minimum standard of ethics.
