I have no argument. A dear friend I helped off the street is now 78, schizophrenic, insulin-dependent diabetic, and the bravest man I know. He's been settled since 2000, after 32 years on the street. They just cut his Oregon SNAP benefit BY HALF to $42 A MONTH. They know and don't care.

Why is this even a thing? Our crops are filled with glyphosate (many folks with gluten issues can eat bread in Europe and Asia), we have high fructose corn syrup in our sodas (Canada doesn't, because taxpayers cover their own healthcare, so why sell foods with unhealthy ingredients?), etc.
