Did you get into the whole discussion about how ripe they need to be? Some people like them fairly green. I want them yellow and would rather not eat them until they are at this stage:

Some people think the area I live in is quite wealthy / posh, but honestly we are pretty average. We eat the same jammy dodgers as everyone else, both strawberry and apricot varieties:
Two circular silver brooches with large central semi precious looking stones, one dark red, the other amber. The amber one has five little amber stones round the silver disc.

Please don’t do this folks. Parking across a dropped kerb makes it difficult to impossible for wheelchair and mobility scooter users. If you see something like this then leave a polite note asking them to please not do it.

That is a good reminder to me. I bought a fountain pen a few months back, my first in more than 40 years, to try and improve my handwriting. Needs a lot of work still: #HowIsMyAltText

I can confirm that it's still perfectly possible in 2025 to read GOV.UK on an old-ish Kindle Paperwhite. You can't go too far wrong with good old HTML:

But if I click on the image to make it bigger, then do browser zoom it starts to shrink (this also at 400%). Some images stay the same size, but it looks like portrait shaped images shrink. Is this expected behaviour or can it be fixed?

I know it is wrong to add additional information to alternative text to make a joke or to promote something, but is wrong to add some additional context which isn't visible. In this case I have added the place where the photo was taken. What do you think? #accessibility #a11y
