Hi! Erie County resident here. Just to provide some context he was doing an exceptionally shit job of the whole thing. Includes but is not limited to the leasing of space in our public library to a private institution (Gannon University) for cheap: www.yourerie.com/news/local-n...

‘Giving away public space to a private entity is wrong. Especially without input’ Citizens make their voices heard over Gannon research center at Erie Co. library

The Erie County Library will soon be welcoming Gannon University’s Great Lakes Research and Education Center, but not without a fight. Erie City residents came together to get the attention o…

It's a great day to be a #HorseRacist. #MorallyAmbiguousNature is still here (photo from a while ago). She has touched home plate more times in the last 2 weeks than 22 major-league ballclubs. Why am I like this? I don't know. Yankees can't lose if they don't play. ...for the next 4 months.

A plush of Nice Nature from Umamusume laying upon home plate at a baseball field.

One of those nights where I feel unsettled going to bed because I know that an unfolding disaster could look immeasurably worse in the morning. One of the challenges of being a met: You’re awed by things that have tangible, usually horrible impacts on people’s lives and communities.

In the 1980s and 1990s, President Carter was portrayed as the archetype of a failed president. History has now ranked his presidency as middle of the pack (slightly below Reagan's). Is there anyone that doesn't view him as the greatest ex-President ever and probably the archetype humanitarian?

20th of November: TRANSGENDER DAY OF REMEMBRANCE. Every three days a transgendered person is murdered somewhere in the world. 34% of trans people attempt suicide. 64% of young trans people are bullied. A day to remember those who have died as a result of transphobia. LOVE OURSELVES AND ONE ANOTHER.

The thing about mutual options is there’s another mechanism in which two parties can agree on a set price for labor. It’s called “free agency.”

Catchers hug their pitchers at the end of games to let them know it’s over and they can go home now. If the pitcher isn’t told to stop, they’ll assume they have to keep playing. Tracking the outs and score is one of the most important aspects of catching.

Stuff up. Velo up. Arm injuries up. Batters humanly incapable of managing to put up a fight against modern demon pitching... also up. How far are we gonna go before we say enough is enough? And what would the forceful de-demoning of pitching look like, and what consequences would that have?

RE: VWMG: that would be part of the aforementioned systematic changes to the protocol perhaps roll out a version without VWMG for now and do some side research to determine whether it has merit? or is that a stupid idea
