ok but. Jean doesn't even really dare to look at someone too longb(aka check then out), because he's scared of the consequences he's used to. in the next book I need there to be a scene where he's allowed to look at and appreciate Jeremy as much as he wants to, without anything else happening. pls

finished the current infinity nikki inkville quest. that was such a beautiful story. and so gay. so damn gay and I loved every second of it. also cried several times. we literally get a red band of fate as a gift at the end. damn.

still haven't processed all of tsc and tgr, but what I just had to think about again was that Kevin threw away his public persona for a sec to defend jean during the interview and also stated his honest opinion on the situation without sugarcoating it. idk. not gonna leave my brain any time soon

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

actually no. I stand by the statement that it's Kevin coded. the song I mean. and the imagery fits both of them for different reasons

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

if she's anything to him (other than a friend) she's a beard! to protect him in the nest! THERE. I can accept that. and I will go with that until I get unrefutable proof of the opposite. which I then will complain about nonstop. but it's just not gonna happen. ITS NOT!

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

and I need Kevin to put that part of himself behind him! I get that he needs her to talk about shit because Neil and Jean just refuse to do that (!!!) and he has noone else who'd even slightly understand. but thats it! fuck the ec. from the books alone I just cannot imagine them together.

100

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

he hasn't seemed interested in her once and her visits always had a motive other than going to see him! putting the grooming aspect aside (which - if Jean likes her I cannot actually imagine her getting with a high-school aged Kevin. I call bullshit) she's still a Raven at heart

100

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

also: I have so many fucking thoughts about Kevin. the fucker knew about andreil as soon as Wymack knew. I swear! he was there during all the moments wymack was and just quietly observing them! I also don't believe in his relationship with thea. they weren't in contact for over a year after he fled!

100

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

ok so apparently it's also supposed to be a trilogy? God damn i got scared for a sec there.

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

fuck a prequel. I don't want to hear any more about the nest! I need to know how Jeremy and Jean progress! How Jeremy and his family evolve! How the foxes tackle the new season!! I NEED ANSWERS!!!

100

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

nothing has been resolved!!!

100

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

even without reading tsc and tgr.. the whole drake thing?? I guess you could call that a means to an end, but he was obviously enjoying the thought of hurting Andrew that way.

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 29/07/2025

ok but like. how are people saying Riko spitting in Neil's mouth didn't have a sexual component to it, knowing what he did to Jean and some other ravens? yeah he didn't do most of that himself but he orchestrated it?!

100

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

finished the Sunshine Court. thank God for Neil Josten. my hero. very interesting to get to see him from an outside perspective!

010

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

on a more lighthearted note. I love how literally everyone describes Kevin as a Diva. amazing. incredible! XD

010

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

also saw someone draw that (the drowning part) recently so probably won't do it. didn't realise how literal it is for Jean though until today.

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

you know what's funny? I wanted to draw a piece about Kevin trying not to drown (metaphorically) inspired by the song Damocles by Sleep Token. I now realise that that's Jeans song and visual. goodness.

110

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 25/07/2025

I'm halfway through the sunshine court and have basically been crying nonstop. that poor guy.

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

maybe it's worse for me because I went in blind and was convinced Kevin was gonna be the love interest up until the end of the first book.. but then he just disappeared into the background. I feel like Neil holds him in incredible high regard but kind of blocks him out emotionally?

100

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 22/07/2025

can I just say. after reading the first aftg trilogy twice now (still haven't read the others).. Kevin had such a strong start but in the end he felt really washed out and like an afterthought half of the time. GIVE ME MORE DEBTH ON THE BOI! and free him from this groomer while we're at it.

I'm glad I can finally kind of predict under which circumstances I get a migraine. but that doesn't mean I can avoid it at all times :<

010

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 07/07/2025

still waiting. there have been updates but billing hasn't resumed yet. I'm exercising so much patience here

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 07/07/2025

how do artists not constantly change their profile pics to their latest piece?

010

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 07/07/2025

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH!!🥺🥺 this is the first time I tried a style like this digitally and I wanted to try not blending at all, because I normally overdo it with smudging. I'm really proud of it so this comment means a lot!!

So obsessed with those two I can't even put it into words. Andrew liking neck kisses is so dear to me. #andreil #andrewminyard #neiljosten #aftg #aftgfanart #allforthegame #allforthegamefanart

made it through. it's an incredibly well written scene and it hits so damn deep!she described just enough to know what's going on and you really feel how disoriented and overwhelmed Neil is in the situation

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 02/07/2025

interesting opinion considering his stance on "brotherly love"

I'm at the "family reunion" in trk and have to muster up the courage to actually read it.

100

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 24/06/2025

Andrew finding out he has a brother and thinking there's a version of himself out there that got a good start in life and is happy. and then doing everything in his power to stay away and not drag that version into his own problems.

010

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 24/06/2025

I would like to use the audio book to make some tiktoks.. I sadly really dislike how it's read though :<

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 24/06/2025

this shit hurts so much more on the second read!

100

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 24/06/2025

made it to the raven king. thinking about 13yo Andrew finding out he has a brother and feeling forced to push him away because of the circumstances. MY HEART

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 23/06/2025

in my head Andrew just looks incredibly soft💕 #andrewminyard #aftg

rereading the foxhole court is so fun. I have solche a different perspective on things now and focus on completely different things. I also finally understand the passages a lot of people have marked. I was so confused on the reasons the first time around XD

110

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 19/06/2025

glad she is ok! always better to be safe and consult a professional ^-^

010

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 18/06/2025

rereading the foxhole court and realising what the reason for Andrews freak out on nicky was. ouch. not understanding the guy was less painful.

000

Han @abyssalluminary.bsky.social · 13/06/2025

just saw a person who looks exactly like i imagine the monster twins. hair, height, fashion and all
