On my days of I've found that this schedule (or something close to it) actually works really well for writing! Maybe not as early — and I spend longer on dinner, and have all sort of pet care in the morning — but overall it works great!

Mostly, I love that she cries and addresses her emotions, but remains strong regardless of that; she still makes the tough decisions, still perseveres, still comes out on top as the victor (not always!) and that her crying or being emotional doesn't compromise that! Crying =/= weakness

One thing I've tried to emphasise with Bronwyn is her emotional vulnerability. She is someone who is very expressive at times, someone who cries when faced with a tough situation, but I never let that detract from her strength! She cries, but she gets the job done anyway. #AwesomeCharacters

It was a foolish, childish hope, she knew. But she couldn't stop herself from looking. Time and again she went to the picture of Hal's last class, figuring that, by their age, these people were the same age as her mother. She never asked Hal about it: she knew the old man would not understand, would not want her wasting her time. He would tell her that who her parents were, where she came from, these things didn't matter.

He would never understand that they did matter, in the most fundamental way.

Finally got to see #Supergirl last night! Don't believe a word of the hate. Supergirl is a fun, energetic, funny, and heartbreaking movie. Was it as good as Superman? Not quite there. But well worth the watch, and a hundred times better than some of the marvel slop we've had since Endgame.

This crow got stuck in my garden fence the other day. I freed it, but this morning before work, one of my sister in law's dogs found it... Bird is apparently unable to fly, and this terrier managed to get his teeth on it. I managed to get him away from the bird and he appears unhurt, no blood etc—
