There are strings that keep me attached to Meta. It’s annoying but anyone else feeling this pros and cons list becoming unbalanced?

As much as I love this Bluesky app had to step back from it some due to feelings of being overwhelmed. Thanks to new meds I’m not having to struggle so much w just being me. Next month will have lots of stress due to some health news that no one wants to hear. I’m here, albeit inconstantly 💚

Someone needs to have a talk with my cat about being an enabler. All I want to do is stay in bed and she constantly tells me “you do you boo”

The deep goal of bluesky is to decentralize the social internet so that every individual controls their experience of it rather than having it be controlled by 5 random billionaires. Everyone thinks they signed up for a demuskified twitter...we actually signed an exciting and bizarre experiment.

Have you played Xylotar from Bezier yet? I get the same vibe feeling when I play that I do when I play Scout.

My mental battle the day before leaving for a convention trying to prep Daniel & I for the trip and my kids/house for our absence 😬

Agreed. Doesn’t set the person on the other side up very well especially during this season. We need to treat every person in customer service with so much grace and respect, they really are some of the hardest un-thanked workers.

When you been on a call for 7 minutes and hear “Your call is very important to us please wait for the next available agent,” literally every 10 seconds … it’s starts to sound sarcastic

That’s the rules for cat familiars.

I don’t want to just focus on the popular. I actually love the concept of stepping in and out of a “room” and interacting with who is there and engaging in the moment. This feels more real and what the current other socials have gone away from making them more & more removed from true interactions.

Games played today: Mori, Things In Rings, Caution Signs and Xylotar. So many laughs and great memories made. I needed today more than I realized.

The phrases that keep spinning around my head lately “the root to sadness is knowledge” & how “ignorance is bliss”… I have done more this year in listening & educating myself that I have found myself stepping into thanksgiving festivities not with joy & anticipation but with anxiety & tension.

Do you know the game?? I love this shot I grabbed years ago and how the absence of matter from the components create the essence of the game. Do you see it??

For anyone unfamiliar with my work: something I teach at cons, and on my stream is the 4 color palette. I urge my viewers and students to paint a mini using only 4 colors. Limitation breeds innovation! This mini from the #boardgame Judgement Eternal Champions is one such mini! #minipainting #art
