Nah that place is being insane right now with people saying "Why would you want Husk with his abuser?" but like...we have merch with Angel with the Vees and Alastor with Rosie. Not even including the fact that Alastor and Husk, in canon, seem pretty casual/neutral with each other most of the time.

My running theory is that the role of anti-christ (in a way) is being filled by two individuals: Charlie and Alastor. Charlie is the more literal blatant one so in Hell people just assume she's that but Alastor is like... the actually destined Anti-christ to fuck up Hell's order of things.

I put it in my replies but basically I think he respects a few women (he's misandrist even more but he does respect Zestial), but he respects them because "they overcame their inherent disadvantages". So he prob saw his mom like that too but also connected it to why she died

BUT I do think it could have altered how he viewed his memories after the fact. During the moment he saw it as just a person he loved going through hardships and then she died because of things out of their control. But as an adult, he might've twisted that as "she suffered/died because she (1/2)

I honestly think the internalized misogny thing didn't have that much to do with how his mom treated him or actually was and more about 1930s society as whole (Like, I'm sure SHE could have also had some internalized misogny despite being a good woman in general).

Also possible, but I feel like even Husk knows that would just make the amount of Overlords enemies higher which wouldn’t be helpful (The Vees all now have reason to dislike or hate him. So it would just add Alastor as a possible threat to in his eyes).

Controversially: I think since Husk will consider his deal with Al compared to the ValAngel deal in season 3 would be a better way of finding out how to help Angel. Being strategic over just running into the Vee tower and getting his old ass beat up.

Oh, I do actually think you’re idea for Alastor replacing Angel in a way for Husk does make a lot of sense (would also make it look like he has a type for entertaining twinks taller than him), I just think Alastor himself would be confused at first as to what is occurring

I love how Alastor and Husk aren't just cliche pirate costumes but also specific stuff going on in the art. Husk is obviously seasick ( Cruel to say but: I really want most of the art to keep that going seasick cat is a really funny concept to give Husk) and Alastor is the chef of the ship.
