When you were unprepared for Summer binding but you are not legally allowed to show weakness and you have to lock the fuck in with walking steadily so you don’t collapse

My brain fog from cold turkeying all of my Very Important medications that keep me ok for TEN DAYS has me forgetting how to navigate my home town that I grew up in. Minimal if any concept of time. I thought i just had low blood pressure and some VIRUS but no it was my body screeching to a halt FUCK

Bro holy shit I’m fucked— I just realized it wasn’t 1 or two days I’d missed my Very Important daily meds but rather 4 because I stopped taking them Thursday and it is Sunday evening. Except it’s Saturday? so 3. that’s manageable. Except no because it was thursday before last… 9 days? No: ten.

Tired from working (now a line cook) but my mental health id p good: I make the most creative output when not in a good place but my meds have gotten a lot better recently. Kinda good but it also makes me not so good that I’m not making art all the time. I can still draw but I don’t “have to” #vent

The deep desire to have this but with a cecil plush I long for the universe where Donald plushies were also sold

An image from pintrest of someone’s hatsune miku figurines in display boxes that are mockups of rooms, the zoomed out effect is like an alien zoo or a human fish tank yet is still cozy

Now in a new kind of agony as I try cutting back the high dose naproxen to just as needed at night because it was causing severe muscle weakness and I almost passed out from the “exercise” of taking a shower

Alright, I’m calling it for the day Still a long way to go but much further along that when I started

A work in progress of charcoal art depicting Cecil Stedman greyscale, he’s looking out of the corner of his eye at the shadowy figure in the doorway behind him

Getting way too into the rendering stage and he is STILL BALD I need to lock in and relearn prioritizing in physical art mediums

Charcoal cecil stedman work in progress image, now with more rendering and more extreme dark values

An older photo: honestly I think they just like the smell

000

AbsenteeCoPilot @absenteecopilot.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

It is immensely funny to me that my suspicion that something was "off" with this image as I was drawing it was all along the subconscious knowledge that his eyes were tiny

AbsenteeCoPilot @absenteecopilot.bsky.social · 22/04/2026

Technically a (work in progress) thing branched off from my Cecil eras piece I'm working on because I thought this might be cool as a icon for my cecil tumblr (went with the one I use here instead) I love this concept but only after I was done rendering did i realize how small his eyes were ._.

Cecil Stedman with blonde thick hair in his GDA suit with a red tie and American flag pin, the base background is white like the gda white room but in the mid ground/between cecil and the base background is a triangle the color of Cecil's teleporter energy signature. The triangle appears to be glowing but also glitching, highlighting how man made it is. The triangle is a "perfect" straight triangle and is placed directly behind Cecil's head, mimicking the triangle used in iconography for God. In this instance it is glowing eerily, is an almost sickly teal, and is glitching from man made imperfections. Cecil has to put himself in the highest position of organized power that he can and if it doesn't happen naturally I'm sure he would cause it to happen, hence the man made god metaphor

almost to 37,000 words and I'm still having a blast Scrivener makes me feel so much more organized

A screenshot of Scrivener, specifically of the long fan fic I am working on called Missed Connections that is set in the Invincible universe and started as a psychology character study of one OC and has evolved into a sociology/group character study of all the characters and is going to expand on a lot of "what ifs" of the Invincible story. Scrivener helps keep me organized so I can work on it easier, I really like the program. I am now at almost 37,000 words, I am nowhere near done, and I'm still having a blast writing it

Taking my time with this has actually been so enlightening so far

A progress photo of procreate art of Cecil Stedman in various stages of his life. Bottom center is pre-gas incident, right is after the gas incident so he has his scars but it's also before he took out the Order of the Freeing Fist again, left is cecil in prison with a few streaks of graying hairs, and top center is closer to modern cecil (with his back to the viewer) and his hair much more like what it looks like modern day in the show. He looks happy and enthusiastic as a young agent pre-gas incident and is saluting to highlight how much he believed in "doing good" back then; in all of the other stages of his life he has varying expressions but he never looks as happy again.

There are also other Invincible character plushies on that site including a Rexsplode and tbh if they ever made one I think a Rex Sloan warmie would be so absolutely funny (he's so microwavable)

Me imagining the potential of an Epic-style series of AMVs of Cecil Stedman's life with each song being a different era
