While Onslaught didnt fully land with me, I respect the swing. It's reminiscent of early John Carpenter mixed with Planet Terror. I'd love to see Adam Wingard continue to make more films in this style. We need more stylish B-Movies in theaters.

I had no idea of this comic's existence till a few weeks ago. A Viz hybrid manga tying into Super Street Fighter 2, starring Cammy, that reads left to right rather the usual right to left for the manga format. This was a no brainer of a purchase!

I really enjoyed Spider-Man Brand New Day, even more than I expected. It managed to juggle so many elements without feeling overcrowded. There is one thing a character did that I keep going back and fourth on, but the payoff for their journey absolutely landed. Curious how I'd feel with a rewatch.

I honestly forgot the joy of reading a back issue from the 90s. I love the way the aged paper feels to flip through. The old advertisements, both in-house and media of the time. And the way the vertigo artists' styles blend with the newsprint... chef's kiss.

I went into Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 expecting a bit of a fall off simply because Season 2 had such an impact on me. And it was a bit of a step down, but when JJK locks in, it still delivers bursts of madcap creativity, fight sequences and moments of genuine hype.

I love the premise, but the tone is surprisingly cheery for a story centering around the Yakuza. But something flipped near the tail end of vol. 2 and especially during this sequence. Showcasing an cold menace behind the smiles. Now this is more like it!

Old school Sam Raimi is back!! Send Help was such a twisted fun flick that's right at home with Drag Me to Hell & The Evil Dead Trilogy. And Rachel McAdams is a pitch perfect Raimi protagonist. They've gotta make more movies together.

Reading this short story in the second volume of The Parker: Martini Edition has left me in chills. A beautiful tribute to the late great Darwyn Cooke. Ed Brubaker and Sean Philips really pulled out all the stops with this one.
