I live transcribed my doctor's appointment yesterday. I reviewed it when I got home. I tend to forget what I hear when I am under stress. Very helpful. #Autism

This book changed my life 50 years ago, and I'm looking forward to reading this 50th anniversary edition. Diet for a Small Planet by Frances Moore Lappé.
Book cover includes a picture of colorful vegetables. Quote: "Frances Moore Lappé is one of the few people who can credibly be said to have changed the way we eat--and one of an even smaller group to have done it for the better." The New York Times. With a timely introduction plus new and updated plant-centered recipes.

I started to live one day at a time over 60 years ago. I haven't had the happiest of lives, but it's always been interesting.
A path strewn with boulders.

As a life coach with a master degree in psychology (now retired), I used a few questions from the MBTI to understand my clients. For example, when a single father liked to plan and follow rules and his teenage children liked to be spontaneous and independent, that was helpful to know.

One by one, I had to replace my tire pressure sensors. No problems after that. $60-80 for each one. Good luck!

I'm always wary of the novelization of real people's lives, but I appreciated how Marie Benedict tried to get into the minds of the Mitford sisters. The book covers their debutante years in the 1930's to the incarceration of Diana for her fascism during World War II. #Mitford #HistoricalFiction

I learned how to make fudge from this cookbook. I'm tempted to make the cheese and clove cornucopias, but I think I would put them on an Impossible Quiche made by mixing Bisquick into the egg mixture. Yes, I'm a Boomer.

I feel your pain. After 5 years in my last house, I figured out that the cost of repairs averaged $400 a month. This for a house my inspector called "a great little house." I hope you find good repair people. I did find a good electrician--a mother of triplets.

Death on the Prowl is a satisfying end to the Campbell and Carter series that takes place in the same universe as her Mitchell and Markby series. Ann Granger died last month. #AnnGranger #CozyMysteries
The book cover shows a fox outside a cottage at night. "Is an uninvited guest a killer on the loose?"
