James is correct. Scotland voted overwhelmingly to remain in the EU and were ignored. Currently polls are showing Scotland wishing to leave UK and especially Westminster politics behind. Independence is normal.

Scottish businesses submitted funding proposals to the UK government’s hydrogen allocation round - which closed nearly a year ago - but they’re still awaiting a decision. Grangemouth can lead the way on producing green hydrogen but we need the UK government to stop dragging their feet. 6/8

We’re working with businesses, unions, and the local authority to turn Grangemouth into a hub for industry, like hydrogen and SAF. The UK Labour government have funded the development of hydrogen and carbon capture in Merseyside and Teesside. Grangemouth deserves the same. 4/8

Worked there for a time myself. Unsure of politics of situation, however don’t remember UK government of the time giving any support whatsoever and if Grangemouth is anything to go by they probably gave none.
