iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Picked up my Stylus for the first time in a while, decided to draw an old DnD character that's still near and dear to my heart, Beep! Steam robot inspired by Robo from Chrono Trigger in his design. :) #characterdesign #oc #DnD #Dungeons&Dragons #D&D

Ambia and Morse Ref sheets (sketches)! Two main characters that are in me and my SO, @morsebanana.bsky.social, universe! Hope everyone enjoys! #digitalart #sketch #OCart #RefSheet #ReferenceSheet #Characterart

A reference sheet of Ambia, Showing a scale between Ambia and relevant characters, as well as common expressions and alterations to their body.

A ref sheet of Morse Banana, A very altered Banana slug with height references between the relevant characters. There is a small doodle by Morse Banana themself on the sheet.

Something from a few days ago after the Raven god I made. Wanted to keep pushing my character design muscles. Might continue work on it at some point. Hope you all enjoy :D #digitalart #ocart #sketch #characterdesign #concepting

Hey everyone, been a while, but I've got some stuff to post again, as I straight up just forget to do so. This is a friends character, A Raven god of Flaws and Weakness, I drew for his birthday, I hope you enjoy it! #ocart #commissions #digitalart #FantasyArt

Commission done! This one has been ages in the making through restarts and redraws as I've improved and not been satisfied with the product. I present, Nerro! A Commission for a good friend of mine! #Commissions #Art #D&D #DND #ReferenceSheet #ReferenceSheet #DigitalArt #CharacterRef #OC

An Expression Sheet for Nerro, A catfolk bard, Depicting Him in a base expression, Blushing, Angry, and Saddened.

A full body Reference sheet, With swatches and a turnarounds. The leftmost body, depicts Nerro holding a guitar, and looking up towards the viewer as if he stopped playing to address them.

The cloak is see through for the purposes of the ref on the rightmost reference.

He carries a Sketchbook with him on a sling.

Slowly getting over burnout! Enough to give a fairly simple sketch page together!

Ambia (top character) is nervous. Miata (right character) is hopeful and declaring their desire to go onwards, and Squigly is very smug.

I have been advised that I should probably take breaks. so here is a rat.

Today was alright, but the really bad anxiety has not gone away. Have doodle of disproportioned Ambia.

Today's warm-ups before I got to work on Comms! I can't share the more impressive stuff I've done and am doing today but, at least I learned a little bit from these sketches :)

Ablecade @ablecade.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

Xunal! An oc I haven't drawn in a bit. tbh I was hella tired today so recuperating and just doing a sketch I think seemed like a good idea. Though I really want to get to a point where I'm not doing "day on day off" serious drawing.

Ablecade @ablecade.bsky.social · 04/01/2026

I present, Aether Slimes! Based on a combination of Slugs, Frogs, and Seals! These guys consume gas and flop around until their body weight becomes too much for their bellies to bear, causing the gas to rush to their backs, and shoot new slimes into the world!

Today's warm-up sketch coming really late cause the sluggishness has not gone away, hopefully after a good night's rest I'll be able to get going a lot sooner tomorrow, and perhaps enough that I can do some color! Either way, A recreation of a scene me and a few friends thought up between OCs!

Ablecade @ablecade.bsky.social · 03/01/2026

Today was a bit sluggish, had a lot to do so this was the best I could muster for a brief sketch of something I wanted to do. A fan concept of a Mega Jirachi I was doing in tandem with a friend to compare notes on how we handled the concept!

Last year was a bit rough for me. It felt like every time I got my footing it was yanked out from under me. Sickness, mental problems, and straight up lack of discipline to get going again. I may not have ever gotten going again if it wasn't for the people surrounding me. So this is for them. Enjoy

A mural of me and my friends Personas all walking towards the new year. Morse is leading the way, Bee fluttering alongside joyously, Violet nonchalantly moving forward, with Freak walking backwards to challenge themselves. Ambia is stopped in place hesitantly with Sincara encouraging them to follow Morse's enthusiastic example while taking a big step forward. Kaleido asks where everyone is headed while Sparrow simply gestures forward with a smile in response.

Sharing a recent dnd character that I made who is a sentient puppet named Miata! They’ve got a deep in the weeds story that I can’t share cause friends who are in that campaign follow me :D

God I really wanna draw and work on commissions and everything that I’ve been wanting to draw but I’m still recovering from becoming Uber sick right after the game awards. Here’s an intermediary piece sketched super quickly and colored by my lovely spouse @morsebanana.bsky.social !

Ambia, my persona, holding up the persona of my significant other, Morse, with both of them being in festive getup for the holidays.

Ablecade @ablecade.bsky.social · 17/11/2025

Hey so me and my significant other @morsebanana.bsky.social have been getting a bit screwed by medical expenses and people not following through as of recent, so I'm here to open up $20 sketch commissions! I'd appreciate retweets and getting the word out! #art #artcommissions #sketch

Artblock be damned when the special interest kicks in. Started another playthrough of Terraria Calamity mod, in what feels like at least a yearly endeavor, and felt like drawing Draedon and D.O.G. #Sketch #Digitalart #terraria #Calamity #fanart #CalamityMod #Draedon

I've been having MASSIVE artblock as of recent but I wanted to get this out while I had the fleeting motivation. @vivisangry.bsky.social's content is AMAZING and they deserve a bigger following. Its all be very funny, and there is a certain joy in their voice that just puts a big smile on my face.

Doing a little more creature design tonight, and while I'm tired and am already out of energy, I give you a little mole type guy. They've got some neat symbiosis with some of the lifestyles in the still unnamed world I'm thinking of putting together! #worldbuilding #digitalart #art

Had a dream a few nights ago, I've been doing my best to get it out onto paper one concept at a time. Here is the Shanty Krab, Large crustaceans that take up residency in old abandoned buildings. (yaknow, as hermit crabs do) More lore in alt descriptions!! #digitalart #Worldbuilding #art #creatures

A large crab taking residence in a shabbily made house, next to it, is its young, who is taking residency in a much smaller, dog house.

Younger Shanty Krabs also may take residency in milk boxes and other sturdy containers.

A concept for a very large iteration of the shanty krab with a skyscraper on its back.

Simply a "for fun" ideation, this most likely won't be part of the world at large.

More doodles from today. "Just make it exist you can make it good later" is a good mantra today. Get into a flow as opposed to slapping my own wrist on how I'm not where I wanna be. #digitalart #sketches #OC #art (Repost cause Pixel aliasing murdered the quality)

Rough day for art, filled 2 pages of stuff but this is the only thing I feel semi-okay to post. Exceedingly frustrated but it's what I get for drawing inconsistently. This character based on @.tearfuleyes.art, not accurate enough to say its really them lmao #digitalart

Hey, nothing new for this post, but I wanted to apologize for not posting. Seems everytime I get steam going something comes along to jam the engines. Insomnia is funny lol. Here are some sketches from a while back I don’t think I’ve posted here! #art #sketches #digitalart

Lets try and keep an actual schedule and routine this time, aye? Sketches from the past few days, starting off smaller to get myself back into the swing of drawing, (I say as I drew a full body yesterday which I "never" do) #art #sketches #digitalart #OC #practice Hopefully my energy improves. :)

I'M NOT DEAD JUST HAVING TO DEAL WITH ISSUES. Got my glasses back so I'm trying to get into drawing more again. Here are the fruits of the past few days. #art #artist #sketches #Starbound #OC #worldbuilding Floran (Colored image) is Terra, a character by AceTheOcarinaMaker.

Terra the Floran, a warmup that turned into a colored flats piece.

Xunal, a character of mine, crossing his arms and looking towards the camera. (no pupils)

Drawcia from Kirby flats!!! I saw the design a little bit ago and I fell in love and wanted to draw it! (Though posting this I realize a few inconsistencies between ref and my art-) Plan to do some more experimentation with more painterly lights and such! #DigitalArt #Kirby #Workinprogress

Hey all :) Got a comm done, so I wanted to post it here considering I never do so. Folly from regretavator, and two friend's characters. Background is a screenshot of the titular regretavator. I know nothing of lore, so pardon if my depiction is inaccurate. Made in Clip Studio Paint :D

Folly (left), Support Goat (middle) and Sincara (right) in an elevator while Support goat tries to get Folly to stay.

You ever remember that you have a presence to maintain for those that vaguely follow and remember you? Yeah me neither. Anyway, brief update is that I was in a bad spot, now I’m in a slightly better spot enough mentally to draw more again. Gonna try to do more of that. (Reposted art)

A picture of my character, Ambia, and a my girlfriend’s character, Morse, on a train, specifically a sketch over a scene from evangelion.
