Reji (aka Pickle) waiting for some nummies (broccoli) as I help my mom (who has dementia) eat her lunch.

I assumed they were male and was quite surprised when both gingers were female. One in the littler is a calico. Only about one in 3,000 are male and they have health issues due to the mutation. Mama is on the left.

That's true; yet, I had a stray dilute calico cat show up at my house and have kittens. Two were ginger and female. Betelgeuse is one of them.

Luckily for him, my Chiweenie is no more than a small appetizer.

He wouldn't survive a visit to my place. They run toward me; but it's because they want some chicken scratch. I don't fear them at all, but I stay clear of the males when they are flared out and strutting around protecting their hens. This is a small rafter. I've had as many as 70 come around.

I was happy with the turnout in my "red" county. The pictures don't show nearly the numbers that were there. And honks, thumbs up and waves far surpassed the few middle fingers we got.

I now have a four year old Chiweenie (Reji) and a half Shi-Tsu half mini snauser (Obi) who is nearing the end of his life (he's 16). I said good bye to his littermate sister (Joi) a few weeks ago.

Hopefully, they will live up to their policy.

I'm wondering if he looked like this guy 🤔.

This is my little guy Rejinald (Reji) Barkley. To me he actually looks a bit like a dog version of Lieutenant Reginald Barclay.
