City of Lubbock Public Health Department's Facebook page is reporting an unvaccinated child in the city has tested positive for measles. Screenshot below.

Screenshot of the following message: Lubbock Public Health has confirmed that a school-aged child recently treated at a local healthcare facility has tested positive for measles. The child was not vaccinated for the virus. Lubbock Public Health is working closely with the South Plains Public Health District and the healthcare facility to assess potential exposure in the area.

Found this piece of paper amongst my mom's stuff announcing a student protest of the Kent State massacre from May 1970 in Defiance, Ohio. My parents went to Defiance College. Reverse side is a note from my mom to her mother, explaining the experience. Read Alt text for transcriptions. 🗃️
